I just told Mike Johnson in conference that I’m cosponsoring the Motion to Vacate that was introduced by @RepMTG.
He should pre-announce his resignation (as Boehner did), so we can pick a new Speaker without ever being without a GOP Speaker.

Yeah, I don’t think this is a good idea during the eve of an election.
This is the guy who walks around with a “national debt clock,” and who has made a career out of railing against bloated Federal budgets and unconstitutional spending. And yet when the time came for him to actually cast a decisive vote on the matter in the spring of 2023, he was right there supporting the Biden-McCarthy measure to raise the U.S. debt ceiling.
People still don’t get it.
Sure, it stinks, but it's also pretty bad to have the speaker undermine the American people.
