The world is the verge of global conflict, America is splintered into angry factions and New York is sliding into hell.
On the other hand, the newsrooms of the New York Times and National Public Radio are in turmoil.
OK, that’s hardly as important as the widespread surge of violence and disorder, but we have to take good news where we find it.
And these internal media battles are good news because the lefty outlets are getting a taste of their own medicine.
Although the details differ, the common denominator is that insiders at both places are accusing management of bias and bigotry.
The intense battles have gone public, magnifying the stakes.
To be clear, these are not uprisings of conservatives against their progressive masters.
If either institution has significant numbers of conservatives, they’re in hiding.
Instead, the fights essentially pit the demonic left against the even more demonic far left.
Naturally, much of the rancor revolves around Donald Trump.
Relentlessly negative coverage of him remains standard fare at both NPR and the Times, but, as I predicted would happen, the lack of basic fairness that polluted coverage of Trump in 2016 has spread to virtually every topic under the sun.
Fair-minded stories have disappeared as leftist opinion dominates.
Media critics have warned for years that the lack of standards would erode public trust.

The media lost my trust a long time ago. IMHO there is no integrity in the MSM. It is all about twisting the truth and flat out making up lies to get Trump. Of course, the Biden Administration and the Biden family gets a full pass.
I think this article grossly exaggerates the turmoil and lack of trust in these sources. Yes, conservatives have long soured on the NYT and NPR, probably since the 1990s. But liberals have actually GROWN in their reliance and trust on these outlets, and follow their editorial lines more closely and parrot their propaganda more faithfully than ever before.

The CIA could have done more to prevent our various institutions from being infiltrated by Marxists, but they were too busy trying to rule the World via assassinations and color revolutions.
To the extent that there is turmoil and trouble at the NYT, even if we believe that it’s the left vs the loony left in the overall cumulative damage leftism is causing the world right now, IS A GOOD THING. A VERY GOOD THING. And the advent of Trump being a President again confirms it for me.
Leftism has gotten so, so bad they’re infighting amongst themselves. I guess it’s turning out that you can’t successfully pander to ALL of the woke victim groups ALL of the time.

I heard by chance a few seconds of a woman on NPR saying the prospective jurors in NY are being “protected” as Trump’s trial puts their lives in danger as with the Carroll trial jurors whom the judge warned to keep their identities secret.
Total BS and slander.
NPR is a pile of wet puppy droppings.

npr & nyc are in a quandary because they don’t know which “protected” Democrat group to lie about the most ... every time they sob-sister one group, it pisses off all the others ... it was always inevitable that this would happen sooner or later ...
Goodwin is probably the only columnist for Murdoch’s globalist rag who is not a card carrying member of the Republican Establishment Elite.
NPR needs to be shut down from all federal funding and the first one fired there needs to be Nina Totenberg.

Sure seems like it.
I can’t believe KC went basically “my Lord delayeth His coming” - then again, I doubt that he received very much decent teaching - I’m sure he met Tim LaHaye - not sure if he met Thomas Ice or not.
I spoke to Dr. Ice’s wife several months ago - left a number - she said it might be a long time before hearing from him. I was surprised to find out where he had been working (I tried there but he had already resigned by the time it came to my attention)
So far I have not. And I’ve tried a couple of others (I haven’t been able to reach them, of course).
