He WAS acquitted.
I always felt unsure about the extent action that would have had to be dne by the LA police in order to have framed OJ for it. Why would they do all that to frame him? Were they sure he was guilty, and also certain they couldn’t prove it in court so they nudged the evidence along. A lot?
Or, could he have done it and gotten off. Those gloves sure did look way too small. And that detective did admit to using the “N” word in the past.
So many unanswered questions.

Leather gloves will shrink when they get wet and then are removed before they are dry. At the same time, there are things one can do to make one's hands "too big" to fit a pair of gloves. It's easy to manipulate if you want to.

> He WAS acquitted.

Only because the racially activist jury would not have convicted him under any circumstances.

OJ's trial was one of the rare cases where the general public was privy to the same evidence that the jury was.

Here’s the thing. A couple of years later, L.A. had to release dozens of gang bangers and pay them a lot of money for doing just what you said. The cops knew they were guilty and just added a little here and there to send them away for a long time. This had to have been known in the black community. It was only when the scandal came out that I understood how a predominately black jury could find O.J. innocent.

It’s not that I agree with the jury, but now, at least I think I understand. As to black cheering his acquittal, I don’t know that they were happy he got away with killing two white people as much as a popular black guy wasn’t going to prison.

Since this was 30 years ago I am assuming you were not old enough to have known the facts!! OJ was guilty as hell the jury was black and the BLACK jury gave the judicial system the middle finger, it was as plain and simple as that!!!

The gloves didn’t fit because they shrunk when the blood dried. They didn’t wash the blood out. If you go into greater details about those Isotoner gloves, they we a limited edition and there is a picture of OJ wearing a pair and a receipt from Bloomingdales for their purchase. On that evidence alone I would have found him guilty.

He’s as guilty as hell.

He should have been convicted. He later wrote a book with a title something like, “If I did it, here’s how I would have done it.”

Why would they frame him for murder when they were letting him get away with domestic violence?

The limo driver, Allan Park, saw OJ with a mask and a knife

Double-murderer!

Your take reminds me of Norm MacDonald’s take: The O J trial divided the nation between those who thought O J was guilty and idiots.

Two things I was not aware of regarding the gloves 1) the gloves were saturated with blood causing the gloves to shrink. 2) OJ's lawyers told him to stop taking his meds for arthritis in his hands.

In the last year I got arthritis especially in my fingers. My winter gloves from last year no longer fit because of swelling.

Just in case you weren’t aware of the fact; even tanned/cured leather shrinks like hell when you get it wet, doesn’t matter whether it’s water, blood, or soda pop.

Once wet gloves thoroughly dry my extra large glove wont even fit my wife!
And she has very small hands compared to mine.
