A semiconductor company whose president was head of the now-bankrupt Solyndra solar energy company stands to receive $6.6 billion in funding from the Biden administration.

Under a preliminary agreement, according to CNBC, a subsidiary of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) in Arizona will receive the funding under the U.S. CHIPS and Science Act.

The company’s president is Brian Harrison.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that Harrison was CEO of Solyndra, which in the early 2000s was involved in the manufacturing of solar panels and considered at the forefront of the sustainable energy industry.

Apparently Biden has an unlimited checking account he can spend from. No need for accountability or any such bothers.

I had a rude awaking 45 years ago, and not long after my neighbor suggested that I join the GOP. At the time, I was young and an Independent. He was a good man. A civil servant with an engineer’s mindset. He brought me along with his canvasing commitments. I recall few people were ever home... lol

Months later, a noticed a pattern at the local GOP galas. It wasn’t the locally elected leaders that were leading. It was in fact developers that ultimately orchestrated how the local GOP members were going to conduct themselves. They were forceful and demanding — in polite terms, it was agitating. Needless to say, I cut off my involvement. If it wasn’t for Reagan, I would have returned to being an Independent.

The GOP hierarchy is totally corrupt, and it’s been so for decades. And that’s who’s electing the GOP a-holes to Congress. The promising candidates are often suppressed. Just review the turnout in your local precincts when the RINO incumbent is being challenged.

You caught on early and at a young age. Many people may never notice. They read about situations, but perhaps not see how they are personally effected. . When these candidates first run, they probably have great intentions. I wonder what is the breaking point for them when they decide they will become sell outs. Like Mike Johnson. Wth happen with him?

U.S. CHIPS and Science Act

They were afraid anyone voting against it would face ads claiming "He voted against chips and science." If you vote against any spending, no matter how foolish, you run that risk.

TOTAL CON JOB: DEMOCRATS GIVE BILLIONS TO THEMSELVES.

Solyndra CEO Brian Harrison resigns - October 14, 2011

The CEO of Solyndra, a California-based solar energy company that received a controversial $535 million loan guarantee from the Obama administration, has resigned.

In papers filed with a bankruptcy court Wednesday, Solyndra said that Brian Harrison had left his post on Friday, Oct. 7, “as contemplated even before these cases were commenced.” Solyndra shut its doors and declared bankruptcy six weeks ago.

The Obama administration had selected Solyndra as the first to receive a loan under an Energy Department program designed to provide government support to companies that would create jobs while generating energy from cleaner sources, such as solar, wind and nuclear. President Obama personally visited the Solyndra complex, hailing it as a leader in this emerging field.

In August [2011], though, Solyndra abruptly shut its doors, laying off 1,100 workers. Within days, it had declared bankruptcy. The House Energy and Commerce Committee’s investigative subcommittee has held two hearings intending to unwind the deal and understand how signs of Solyndra’s financial trouble had been overlooked by the Department of Energy.

Across the U.S.A., more than 50% of GOP officials use G-mail accounts. They are careless - sharing information; and that leads to some accounts being compromised. Example:

Exclusive: Emails of top NRCC officials stolen in major 2018 hack - 12/04/2018

Rep. Jason Chaffetz's Business Card Lists His Gmail Address - 03/03/2015

Why were Gmail users targeted in China hack? - 02/06/2011

You forget, there was a coup d’etat in November of 2020, and that was cemented on 1/6/21.

If one remembers when it failed, there were a few stories about a lot of campaign contributions to the “right” people in Washington. Since dems don’t have a clue about creating wealth, they have perfected money laundering of public money into their pockets. It’s official government grand theft, but with unlimited immunity from consequences.

...$6.6 billion from Biden admin

It appears that the ADMIN is over funded by about $6,599,600,000

I’m a lot more concerned about Chinese domination of chip production vs. Chinese ownership of farmland (which to my knowledge can’t be shipped to Beijing.)

I’m not a big booster of fed aid to corporations, but if you want to see home-produced chips that’ll be what it takes.

Subsidies are going to Taiwan Semi, Intel, Micron, Samsung, and Texas Instruments.

Projects will begin in Arizona, Ohio, New Mexico and Oregon.
