The Biden administration finalized its crackdown on gas cars Wednesday, with the Environmental Protection Agency announcing drastic climate regulations meant to ensure more than two-thirds of passenger cars and light trucks sold by 2032 are electric or hybrid vehicles.
The EPA rule imposes strict limits on tailpipe pollution, limits the agency says can be met if 56% of new vehicles sold in the US are electric by eight years from now, along with 13% that are plug-in hybrids or other partially electric cars. That would be a huge increase over current EV sales, which rose to 7.6% of new vehicle sales last year, up from 5.8% in 2022.
Despite the relatively low demand — which has led to auto manufacturers scaling back planned investment in electric vehicle manufacturing — the EPA insisted that carmakers have not had any “change in … intentions regarding PEVs generally or specifically.”

After that, because the assholes gave/sold your personal phone and emails to anyone that asked, you'll be inundated hourly with texts and emails from people, cops, military, Christians etc. you've never heard of asking for your help.
You can bet very few if any at the Environmental Protection Agency drive EVs
And where is the electricity for all of these EVs going to come from?
There isn’t even enough electricity for maintaining buildings and houses and so forth; how is adding EVs going to help?
And how do EVs reduce pollution, anyway? Doesn’t electricity generation also cause pollution?
This will never happen. Even potemkin Joe knows this as its only purpose to to keep the low IQ Democratic voter thinking the idiot Joey is saving the planet.
