‘Vigilantes’ try to evict squatters at $1M Queens house after homeowner who confronted them is arrested in tense standoff

A pair of vigilantes allegedly tried to forcefully evict three alleged squatters from a million-dollar Queens home after the homeowner was arrested when she changed the locks and tried to remove them.

Two unidentified men driving a black pickup truck pulled into the driveway of the Flushing’s home searching for the tenants Tuesday afternoon, according to the Daily Mail.

“We are looking to get this guy out,” one of the men allegedly said, a neighbor told the outlet. “I am here to talk to him. I want to see why he is here.”

Adele Andaloro, 47, was in the process of selling the property when the group shadily took refuge in the home last month.

Andaloro inherited the $1 million property from her parents after they died.

She confronted the trio and changed the locks in hopes they would not be able to reenter if they left.

However, a male inside the home called the police on Andaloro, who was later arrested.

Neighbors have noticed some concerning activity from the house since the alleged squatters snaked their way into the home.

When police are protecting the thieves, expect to see more and more of this. Eventually the looters and “squatters” will just start disappearing.

Meanwhile in Florida the legislature just passed a law allowing property owners to have the police remove squatters in one day.

Lead on.

House Bill 621.

Once Governor DeSantis signs it, squatting will largely be a thing if the past in Florida.

I talked to our local police in our community about this issue just recently.

They have no intention of putting up with this nonsense. They told me that if someone was on my property (which I took to mean not just in my house) and I didn’t want them there and they wouldn’t leave, to call them and they’d deal with it.

Squatters should have no rights.

Then again, this is Live Free or die NH and almost everyone is armed. You trespass and you risk getting shot anyways. Neighbors have been known to greet deliverymen they didn’t recognize with a gun when the property owners weren’t home.

It should never been allowed in the first place.

‘Squatting’ is stealing. Imagine if a store owner had to follow the same rules:

Thief: All this merchandise is mine!

Store Owner: He stole it!

Police: Prove it......................

Yep. Just another indication of how upside down the country is.

I’m surprised some squatter hasn’t gotten shot by now.

If other state Legislatures don’t follow the Florida model they should all be voted out of office.

The $1 million home in Flushing, Queens was taken over by squatters last months while the owner was trying to sell it.

Not worth a million to my eyes. Besides that, I would care to live in NYC.

Funny how this sort of thing seems to never happen to those two groups. 😏

I watched the video. This pile of walking sh!t had all the answers and knew just what he was doing to work the law in his favor. I felt so bad for the poor woman homeowner. The "cops" just walked around like idiots and seemed confused as what to do. Even the reporter was amazed they arrested the homeowner. Crap like this has to stop. Maybe this is the event that will turn the tides and put an end to this nonsense.
