I beg your pardon. I did not need that response from him. Had he posted what his link was to, as I did, I would not have replied at all.

FATHER GOD,

We declare the Promises of protection over Ohio and America from catastrophic weather. May people in the path of these storms look to You.

Comfort the families and friends who have lost loved ones and livelihood.

Psalm 91
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
He is my God, and I trust Him.
3 For He will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with His feathers.
He will shelter you with His wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.

9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For He will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me.
I will protect those who trust in My name.
15 When they call on Me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life
and give them My salvation.”

In JESUS Name we pray. AMEN.

I didn’t see that his comment was snarky or condescending in the least.

It seemed that YF was genuinely happy that someone else confirmed that it was a good source.

In Indiana, We had a warning with heavy rain , wind, and hail that started small and quickly doubled in size, but it swayed south but that same storm hit across Indiana, Marion, Muncie/Ball State to Winchester, close to the Ohio state line, where 3 people have died.

The area near the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers got strong storms, but no major damage is reported at this time.

I almost became a statistic, though. Thought the heaviest stuff was still ~8-10 minutes away, and I ran out to grab my daughter’s cat. CRRRRAK! Crash-crash, thump! A branch about 8” diameter where it broke off came down, just under 20 ft. from me. As it was dark except my flashlight, as it happened it was hard to tell where it was. Just “above”, and maybe to my right, so I ran left, but the branch had hit the ground before I got 10(?) feet. Definitely spooky...

Chesterfield, MO around 1967 or 68.

Interesting, the only Chesterfield located in MO was incorporated in 1988. Musta' been a helluva long lasting storm.

Visited family in Chesterfield, Mo in 1970.

We did not check to see if it was incorporated or not.

My 16-year-old granddaughter was home alone this morning after her parents and brother had already left for work and school. There was no indication that there were tornadoes in the area. Five minutes before she was ready to walk up the street to wait for her school bus the tornado sirens went off. She was a little hysterical but fortunately they stopped before she left the house. This was in Ballwin. Tonight the sirens went off again but thankfully no tornado near them. We are in the danger zone down here in Texas later tonight.

I just looked it up in Wiki — must be where you got your info. I never realized it wasn’t an incorporated town until 1988!

Trust me, it was a real suburban town in the mid 60s. According to Wiki, the history goes way back.

It’s on the west side of St. Louis County next to Creve Coeur.

It’s funny that now I’m close to Coeur d’Alene. Two towns with the French word for “Heart.” Can’t be many other towns in the USA with “Coeur” in their names.

I hope and pray no danger comes to you, your home or town.

Is your granddaughter in Ballwin, MO? That’s not far from where I lived in Chesterfield.

Front has drifted south of Ohio and Indiana now and is at weaker overnight intensity in KY-TN-nAL, will probably keep drifting further south and could redevelop to severe levels by noon in Carolinas, southern parts of AL and GA, west to s.e. LA. across northern Gulf into south Texas.

I have never understood why there are many who love Spring.

Because many of us don't live in tornado alley and have negative associations with spring and bad weather events.

Besides, winter is much longer here in the more northern parts of the country and by the time the nice weather arrives, we are more than ready to see an end to cold, slop, and no color.

Our bad weather events are associated with getting buried in snow, too.

Very likely to redevelop with day due to day time heating.

The greater the temperature contrasts, the worse the severe weather. That is why GENERALLY, tornado outbreaks weaken some overnight.

Fingers crossed it won’t redevelop very strongly as maps indicate a weaker front, more like isolated TRW+ mostly non severe, but a risk remains, in particular around s LA and also s TX. Looks weaker to me for states east of ms.
