Nearly 19 Million People Have Seen Elon Musk's Warning: Democrats' Census Scheme Has Changed the 'Entire Balance of Power'

Illegal immigrants are tilting the balance of power towards Democrats, who are refusing to change the practice of counting them in the Census.

“Most Americans do not know that the US census currently counts, for purposes of voting power, all people in a district, regardless of citizenship!” Musk posted on X Friday, in a post with 19.2 million views as of Sunday night.

“Senate Democrats just voted unanimously to defeat an amendment that would have stopped counting illegals for congressional seat apportionment and electoral college (presidential) votes,”

Most Americans do not know that the US census currently counts, for purposes of voting power, all people in a district, regardless of citizenship!

Senate Democrats just voted unanimously to defeat an amendment that would have stopped counting illegals for congressional seat apportionment and electoral college (presidential) votes.

Since illegals are mostly in Democrat states, both the House and the Presidential vote are shifted ~5% to the left, which is enough to change the entire balance of power!

This is a major reason why the Biden administration is ushering in record levels of illegals and doing so few deportations.

The post came the same day that Republican Sen. Bill Hagerty of Tennessee saw an amendment go down to defeat that would have banned counting illegal immigrants for Census purposes.

...

most people in America are shocked to find out that we count the presence of illegal immigrants in determining the allocation of congressional districts and electoral votes,

1st generation has allegiance to the benefactors. 2nd generation does not. Latinos do not have a built-in failure mode...............

Yup. It's why the Democrats had to bring in 15 million new illegals.

Write a simple bill that stops the counting of invaders in EVs. See if it gets 60 votes in the senate.... They might claim to have such a bill, but if they did it would not have enough votes. Maybe Trump can do something if elected.

All of that together means I agree wholeheartedly we should do as ding_dong_daddy_from_dumas suggests. The Republicans should write a bill saying to not count illegals (or in my view even immigrants here legally) in the electoral college ... and make the Dims say why they block it.

A couple of points:

Trump already tried to do something about it for the 2020 census. The deep state and Dim court won that argument.

My reading of the 14th Amendment agrees with you that they should write the bill. I'm just stating my take from the Constitution to back it up. First the text from Amendment 14:

Section 2
Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

My take:
1) This ended the Connecticut Compromise (counting 3/5ths per slave in the census when determining # of representatives). In other words, count blacks too now that the 13th amendment made them citizens.

2) The "excluding Indians not taxed" seems to exclude the non-citizens.

3) Combine item #2 above with the last sentence (long sentence) saying "But when the right to vote at any election...is denied... to any male inhabitants of such State...the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State."

4) The 19th Amendment saying one's sex can't keep you from voting among other things means to interpret the 14th Amendment as though it doesn't have the word "male". So instead of "male inhabitants" just use "inhabitants". Same with "male citizens" should be read like "citizens". Likewise with the age 21 stuff being replaced with age 18 due to the 26th Amendment.

All of that added together reads to me like, the portion of people living in the state who are old enough to vote but can't vote, shouldn't have a bearing on the # of representatives for that state (or EC's).

Nearly 19 Million People Have Seen Elon Musk's Warning...

So fewer people have seen Musk's message than the number of people that the message warns about.

Why would they turn on them when Democrats brought them here, housed, fed, and schooled them? That doesn't make any sense.

They won't turn on the democrats as a party, but they will turn on the people who currently run the party. Those people (Chuck Schumer) don't look like them, and will be replaced.

Elon is right about that. That’s always been the plan. Why do you think they stopped the Trump administration from asking about citizenship on the 2020 census?

Just wait until these new Democrats turn on them......................

There's some evidence of that happening in Florida and Texas. Latinos for Trump do not want open borders.

Because, just like black people have begun to realize, voting for democrats is voting to get used and abused.
Since black people are getting more independent, the democrats need to establish a new constituancy for their profligacy.

I know it's tradition around here to not read the article, but did you not even read the excerpt? Sen Hagerty did introduce an amendment to do that, and the Dems voted it down.

I understand that dems rejected a bill that sounds like it would have done what we want. I wasn't sure that bill was only for that purpose. Let's assume that it didn't include, for example, money for Mayorkas to spend on waving in invaders faster than ever. That was my concern. Sometimes they describe a bill without mentioning everything in it.

It would be cool to rent one of the cars, let’s say at a racetrack. But not own one.

There is a video of drag races among a BMW S 1000 RR, one of the most powerful motorcycles and various supercars. The Corvette, Bugatti, McLaren, Ferrari, Tesla Plaid, etc.

Only the Tesla could keep up. I think it’s the immediate torque electric motors have. That’s why a hybrid Corvette, the Zora, is coming soon. It’s not for mileage, it’s for acceleration.

Teslas are a nice toy if you have $80,000+ to blow for just some fun, otherwise rent for a day.
