Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan got heated at Thursday’s hearing on the Weaponization of the Federal Government after a Democratic congressman said there are “limits” to free speech and the First Amendment.
Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman argued the committee is “chilling the federal government” to “undermine” the severity of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
“We all agree with the First Amendment, but the problem is that the First Amendment is not absolute. It does not protect any single thing anyone says, and there are limits, and that’s important,” Goldman said. “And what this committee has been trying to do for the last year and a half is to chill the federal government for monitoring what is going on on social media and otherwise out there so that misinformation and disinformation can run rampant on Elon Musk’s social platform and every other social platform so that they, the Republicans, can benefit from it in the November election. That’s why this committee exists and we have gotten no evidence to support any of these allegations.”

There should be no limits to the Truth.
It is too bad that many do not understand or accept God’s Truth.
They are also using DoD assets to monitor citizens here in the states. How do they get away with this? They started years ago by doing it from bases in other countries and remote outposts. I once traced one of many back to a bunker in Syria. But now they are doing it from bases and installations inside the states.
Judicial Watch is so important in uncovering the unconstitutional and nefarious behavior of the left.
Quit calling Democrats democratic! They are anything but.

Yeah, limits just like the founders intended. BranDUHn reminds us that those pesky “rights” are NOT absolute. So how about we “infringe” on, oh, the 13th and 19th to test that out. See how that works out. I mean we already “infringed” on the “right” to abortions in a lot of cases.....

One of my pet peeves. Ronald Reagan always called it the Democrat party, Democrat policies, Democrat congressman - and so did my parents. President Trump does it too - “democratic” sounds so wrong to me unless someone is actually referring to the democratic process.
My wife will tell you I’m constantly correcting the TV whenever someone says ‘democratic’: “Democrat!!!!!”
Think of it, and say it, this way “Democrat tick”
A tick being a blood sucking, disease bearing insect.
