True...the only moderate kid I have is our 10 year old adopted son. We adopted him when he was 7, and he is missing his right arm from the elbow. We knew his foster parents babied him but we want him to be dependent on himself. He gives up easily but we give him praise for trying it. Last night, we were watching Master Chef Junior and he said, “That kid is missing his arm.” We told him, he can do anything if he put his mind to it.

I think you are right! I wish we closed all at the same time! I can remember times when it seemed to be a sure win, and many here in California didn’t go to vote then at all.
I worked as an election clerk in Ellsworth, Maine from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. The polls are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Here are my observations: our ward leans Republican. Each voter who can vote must be registered as a Republican, a Democrat or Unenrolled. People who have registered as Greens, Libertarians, and No Lable are not permitted to vote. Unenrolled can choose a Republican or a Democrat ballot. Of course registered Republicans can only obtain a Republican ballot; registered Democrats can only otain a Democrat ballot. My job for the day was to pass out Republican ballots. About 55 to 60% of the ballots were handed out to Republicans voters. By about a 10 to 1 margin, the unenrolled asked for Republican ballots.
We have Ranked Choice Voting in this primary but I think most people just voted for either Trump or Biden.
