TUKWILA, Wash. — The victim of a random drive-by shooting on Interstate 5 in Tukwila suffered serious injuries after a bullet struck his spinal cord.
Evan Hershey was shot multiple times on southbound Interstate 5 in Tukwila on Monday, Feb. 19.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson, the victim was driving a 2015 Ford Mustang on southbound I-5 near I-405 when they were shot around 11 p.m.
"We don’t know what to say, so we will do our best to share what we can," the Hershey family said. "Evan, our son, brother, and friend, needs our help."
The Hershey family said Evan was ambushed by multiple gunmen in a drive-by shooting while driving home from work.
"Over twenty shots of handgun and rifle rounds riddled Evan’s car, hitting him on multiple occasions," a family member said. "The most damaging of them struck his right flank, destroying Evan’s right kidney and striking his spinal cord."
Evan was a Navy veteran, serving two years as a Ceremonial Honor Guard and six years as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman.
His family and WSP said Evan was the one who reported the shooting. He called 911 and said he heard some "pops" and then "started hurting."

We are going to have to get rid of Soros prosecutors and start putting thugs in jail. Closing the border and jailing thugs will have crime drop dramatically.
The real news is that this is happening a couple of times a week in the same general area. We’re getting a minimum of one random freeway shooting now for several months.
Quite out of control, and possibly random.
With the exception that the shooter and target cars are more often hot models.

It is like victimeless fraud and gunless insurrections-random ambush is not really a thing.
I honestly have a solution for this. Put me in charge and then you will see it.
Not what the word “random” means. “Wanton” is more like it.
And I guarantee there is a motive.
Unfortunately, unless it fits the Deep State narrative, said motive will be obscured from our sight.

And in the 70’s my parents had friends who lived in Capitol Hill, and it was quite the trendy area.
I work in Kent and can smell the dope when riding to and from. Lots of angry young boys driving winged rage cars.
This homicidal mentality is an indication that the Drug Cartels have saturated the region with their mind altering drugs.
