Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers on Sunday afternoon fired back in court against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s latest filing that attempted to disprove new allegations against her and her special prosecutor, Nathan Wade.
Over the weekend, Ms. Willis’s office disputed in a court filing a previous Trump submission that used a private investigator’s analysis of Mr. Wade’s phone records to suggest that he visited her condo far more times than what he claimed in a recent court hearing. Recent allegations from a Trump co-defendant in his racketeering and election case stated that Ms. Willis and Mr. Wade were engaged in a clandestine relationship and that she financially benefitted from the arrangement, which the two later confirmed.
“The records do not prove, in any way, the content of the communications between Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis; they do not prove that Special Prosecutor Wade was ever at any particular location or address; they do not prove that Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis were ever in the same place during any of the times listed,” Ms. Willis’s office wrote in the filing.
But in the most recent submission from the Trump team, they disagreed. They said that the “prosecution will surely point out that nobody knows what was happening in the house between midnight and 3:28 a.m. on September 12, or between midnight and 5:00 a.m. on November 30,” in 2021, referring to the private investigator’s analysis.

I was astounded at the quality of Wade’s answers when being questioned.
Did this guy actually graduate college much less law school? He looked totally at sea.

I wish the lawyers had drilled down on Wade about the cash payments, how much cash each time, when, where, why, how many cash payments. How much did each trip cost etc.
Fani would have looked even dumber.
The ethics requirements don't allow ZERO bookkeeping if you think things "balance or net out". There needs to be documented records - hopefully the judge is smart enough to know this.
You should always know the answer before you ask the question.

Now the CIA and the whole DOJ kept trying to obtain testimony against Trump to put Him to death, or at least bar him from holding office, and they were not finding any.
For many were making up false evidence and giving false testimony against Him, but their testimony was not consistent.
Some stood up and began to give false testimony against Him, saying, “We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this democracy and rule as long as I live.’” Not even in this respect was their testimony consistent.
The DOJ stood up and came forward and questioned Trump, saying, “Do You not answer? What is it that these men are testifying against You?”
But He kept silent and did not answer, instead saving his words for the day when real evidence can be used in lawful trials, if not military tribunals.
Again the DOJ was questioning Him, and saying to Him, “Are you the purported front runner to be nominated and to hold the Office of President for four more years?”
And Trump said, “I am; and you shall see America made great again.”
Tearing his clothes, the DOJ said, “What further need do we have of the Constitution? You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?”
And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death, or at least barred from holding office.
Keep in mind that the Geo-fencing technology that Fani is disputing as proving definitively Wade was there is the exact same Geo-fencing technology that the FBI has been using to get arrest warrants against Jan 6 people.
So which is it?
Not definitive for Fani?
Or definitive for the FBI vs Jan 6th?
