More than half of U.S. adults have a favorable view of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as the health care measure used by millions of Americans continues to gain popularity, according to a poll released Wednesday.
The survey, released by health policy research group KFF, found that 59 percent of U.S. adults had a favorable view of the ACA, though respondents differed along party lines on what they would like to see done with the law.
More than three-quarters of Democratic voters — 77 percent — want the next presidential administration and Congress to expand the law, while 39 percent of Republicans want it to be repealed and about 23 percent would like it to be scaled back, pollsters found.

The GOPe is jumping for joy...redistribution of wealth is the only thing these grifters are good at.
Have people’s health care costs gone down or up since 2010??
I know people that use it, and are glad it’s there. Health insurance is a problem, the Dems did something, the Republicans did nothing, as usual.
Remember repeal and replace?
I’m rather curious as to the misnamed “Affordable” “Care” Act’s popularity on this forum.
Without a viable alternative, we are stuck with ACA, which has some positive points that any solution would have--coverage with no preconditions is a key point.
If you like your plan, you keep your plan. Politifact’s 2013 Lie of the year.
Polls are meaningless in a nation flooded with tens of millions who shouldn’t even be here.
i’d rather the ACA to help Americans then sending $$ overseas.
You can't insure against an event that's already happened.
The people who like the ACS are the same ones who buy extended warranties.
Apparently 60% polled have low IQs.
The biggest joke is the Obama administration arguing the individual mandate was not a tax, and then the supreme Court changed it to a tax
The Pile(of Pravda)
I wonder how many of this 80% favorable are actually enrolled in it?
And what % of the favorable would give up their current plan and opt into it.
Depending on how the questions are phrased, I could easily see an overwhelming positive, if it was something like “don’t you feel those poors should have health care?”
I recently learned that the Obamacare subsidies (discounts) for premiums are driven strictly by income, not by assets. Thus, you can have a billion dollars in the bank, retire early, and get Obamacare for next to nothing. However, if are self employed, your salary is one dollar above the cutoff, barely making ends meet, you will pay full fare for premiums (e.g. $900-1200 per month) for the same coverage your billionaire, early retired neighbor gets for pennies.
Name one thing thats gone down in cost since 2010
They have insurance. Does it pay out claims? Do doctors take it? Are elective services covered by it?
Try don’t know.
Here we see the genius of the Democrats. They are masters at giving horrible ideas great names. Since this health scheme is “affordable”, it must be a good idea, right?
I’d like to say more, but the inflation caused by Biden’s “Inflation Reduction Act” is driving me into bankruptcy. So I’ve got to rebalance my budget. Less meat. More generic macaroni.
How I hate The Hill.
The Constitution gives the feds NO authority to interfere in the free market of healthcare between doctor and patient. Not only is it constitutionally and, thus, legally protected from gov’t interference, the free market of healthcare between doctor and patient is where you get the HIGEST QUALITY healthcare for the LOWEST COST. NO STUPID MONEY-GRABBING GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRATIC MIDDLEMAN!!!
Our problems in the price and availability BEGAN is the 60’s when gov’t began to unconstitutionally meddle in the free market of healthcare between doctor and patient.
