Dem elites shouldn’t be laughing at Trump’s civil trial outcome — they just made him a political martyr

Was there ever a more predictable outcome than that of Donald Trump’s civil trial?

Attorney General Letitia James came into office vowing to punish him and ignore all other crimes.

Judge Arthur Engoron found him guilty before anyone even set foot in a courtroom.

It was all over but the punishment: a $355 million fine and a three-year ban from running a business in New York.

Guess they were out of tar and feathers.

This was a politically motivated trial from the start, one that had the progressive James “protecting” big banks she would otherwise demean.

They have incredible power or influence in certain areas: courts, eduction k-12, colleges and universities, Hollywood, MSM, social media and Google.

They leverage where they have influence to the maximum.

And yes, the Republicans are whimps, eat their own (Palin, Trump, they tried with Reagan), and many are part of the globohomo uni-party movement.

Now we know what Stalin’s show trials looked like. If they can do this to Trump, what can they do to me for saying or doing the wrong thing? Five steps closer to voting for the man......

I doubt it. Most people realize this was directed at Trump and Trump alone. State is not going after everyone who took a loan.

Yes. I expect that NY will take a huge financial hit through the exodos of money and boycotts. NY is clearly a lawless, third world country. No property or assets are safe from government confiscation. Normal people will draw rational conclusions.

Well they have certainly proved that the courts in Dem areas are corrupt tools of the Democrat Party.

That confirms:
Elections run by Dems are equally corrupt.
That Trump could not get justice in court over the 2020 election.
That Trump was forced to seek unconventional solutions, such as the attempt to seat alternative electors.

This is going to be a case study on unintended consequences. It will be taught in government/political science classes for decades…

They have also set the standard for lawfare against political opponents.

If people look over their insurance and investment portfolios and divest in anything with roots in NY, they will feel the pain.

I agree, and New Yorkers can talk of nothing else but the truckers’ boycott or slow down of goods into NYC.

What have you heard in your area about the truckers?

Let this verdict be a lesson to all individuals and business owners who borrow money and have the audacity to pay it all back with interest. Big gov in NYC will come after you years down the line to collect payment from a transaction in which the government had no part whatsoever. No difference between big gov and a mafia boss who wants to wet his beak, especially at the expense of those they deem “political enemies”.
