An apparent innocent bystander was killed and at least five others – including two teenagers – were injured when gunfire erupted on a subway train as it pulled into a Bronx station during rush-hour Monday afternoon, police and law enforcement sources said.
Up to 10 shots were fired at the Mount Eden Avenue station after a fight between two groups of teenagers broke out aboard a northbound 4 train at around 4:40 p.m., creating “total pandemonium,” according to witnesses and police. A 35-year-old man was killed after he was shot in the chest, police and sources said. His identity was not released pending family notification, but he did not appear to be an intended target, sources said.
A 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, a 29-year-old woman and two men, ages 71 and 28, respectively, were also shot. The five surviving victims were hospitalized in stable condition.

We used to enjoy trips to NYC around 2010 to 2015. We saw shows, saw Times Square, saw the park, all the cool spots, shopping, restaurants. My daughter lived in Hoboken. Great memories.
Now we have no desire to ever go there again. We can’t be the only ones. The place is a pure hellhole now.
Darned kids with their rock and roll!
As Will Rogers might say: What are the odds of a stray bullet hitting the only innocent person in New York City?
As long as no bystanders intervened, that’s all that really matters.
Let’s mock Tucker Carlson and his take on Moscow and its subways, like the zeeptards do...
Yep, that will do it. 😝
Teens again. Shocked.
Are they even aiming?
It was the warriors just trying to get home.
Did they include a description of the suspect?
Aiming? With what? The sights are on the wrong side of the pistol! Just align the slide and let her rip.
Unpossible. Hard to have a gun in NYC. 🤔😊
I sense sarcasm.
And the only solution libtards have is to blame the spoon for being fat.
I don’t want to be called racist, so I’ll leave it with this: the kid probably did not attend a private school, grew up with two parents, is white or Asian, and a member of a church. Let’s see.
Imagine a time when comics could be left outside of a store like that. What we have lost.
Never been to and never plan to visit NYC. We have friends who go on occasion and have a good time but I don’t see the thrill in massive crowds, high prices and from what I hear an obvious stench.
I remember reading that paperback book in grade school.
Does anyone set up merchandise displays out side the doors to their shops anymore?
What about sidewalk sales?
