If the court votes against Trump and he loses, Every Last Republican Controlled State should immediately BAN ALL DEMOCRATS from their ballots in the entire State for being Members of a Political Party that actually COMMITTED AN INSURRECTION. See 1861

From what I’ve heard so far there is NO WAY it’ll be 9-0.

Kagan and Sotomayor have already hiked their leg on Trumps argument and pissed all over it.

Until Trump is convicted of insurrection in a court of law (which isn’t going to happen), he is innocent of insurrection. Therefore, the Supreme Court has no standing in this matter.

Trump’s lawyer seems quite well-spoken and able to handle justices’ questioning. i admit that the content is a bit beyond me but the advocate seems to have anticipated much so far.

The SC has no such power to decide this. Eff em no matter their decision.

Thankfully, you are in a very small minority.

I’m expecting 6-3 decision in favor of Trump remaining on the ballot. The crazy far left females will vote to keep him off the ballot.

Props to you for listening. You are choosing to be informed. Many, many posters don't comment first without reading the Opinions or listening to the audio.

Yes, the result could be election chaos. But the end of this maneuver is to keep Donald Trump off the 2024 ballot at any cost whatsoever. What matters is what happens now, not what may happen in the future. (/liberal)

The liberals know their window is starting to close, so they will do everything in their power to clamp down on opposition before it’s too late.

“...by calling them an insurrectionist...”

It doesn’t just have to be insurrection. They could say any type of crime from murder to littering. It becomes a state issue as they run the elections. All the feds do is verify the count. And it is not without their determination to add to the Constitution through theirs and there’s nothing can be done about it by the feds or the next state, or even a minority within the state. So, they cannot make it weaker, but they can make it stronger. It’s their game to play.

"I’m not a pessimist, just an often disappointed optimist."

You're optimism may be disappointed when the verdict
is 5-4 against Mr. Trump.

With traitor john roberts in charge, I won't be surprised.

I voted for President Trump in the last two elections, will vote
for him again if he survives the not so "supreme" court.

I still don’t see where “Presidential elections” and “Ballots” exist in the Constitution.

A literal reading of XIV would conclude that the prohibition (if it exists at all) is a prohibition against TAKING OFFICE, and has nothing to do with the selection method.
