Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush is being investigated by the Department of Justice amid allegations she misused federal funds, according to three sources familiar with the probe -- which she said was connected to her campaign's security expenditures.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, after news first broke of the investigation, Bush denied wrongdoing and said, in part: "I hold myself, my campaign, and my position to the highest levels of integrity."

Bush has illustrated an example of the “grift cycle” in politics. As a self made woke minority victum, she cynically played the system, to benefit herself personally. She has made absurd claims, all the time demanding that she be awarded unearned recognition and benefits as a victim and new age visionary.
The ease at which she succeeded in collection of funds, press attention, political power, etc. convinced herself that she is a master of the art of political grift, and so she assumed she was invulnerable to retribution, and could do no wrong.
Inevitably she overreached, and neglected to cover her tracks. And, as she trespassed on other entitled leftist’s territory, and abused her power arrogantly, she set her self up for a fall. Now comes time to pay the piper, as her own constituents discover in anger and consternation her abuses and fraud.
This happens regularly. Note the fall of BLM, and recently Fani Willis, as they got too used to preying off their extortion and corruption. They deserve all the trouble they will recieve, and deserve absolutely no benefit of any doubt, and certainly no respect.
None of the women of any color/ethnicity out here in the boonies have extensions, braids, dreadlocks, etc-with all the home-based businesses, people have more important things to spend money on-if you see a woman with that stuff-or a guy with dreads-they are a tourist...
This grotesque sweat hog is an embarrassment to the State of Missouri and the City of St. Louis. I hope she goes to prison but she’ll probably play the leftist black female card and walk away.
