A United States Air Force fighter pilot training to be a Top Gun has been crowned Miss America.
Madison Marsh, 22, who comes from Fort Smith, Arkansas, won the top award at a ceremony in Orlando, Florida on Sunday night.
Second Lt Marsh was crowned Miss Colorado in May 2023 before competing in the finals to scoop the top award. Marsh is the first active duty officer from any branch of the military to represent at the national level of the Miss America organization.
This year's runner-up is Miss Texas, Ellie Breaux who would be called to step in if Marsh is unable to complete a full year of service.
Miss Indiana Cydney Bridges came third, Miss Kentucky Mallory Hudson placed fourth while Miss Rhode Island Caroline Parente came fifth.
Fifty-one contestants participated in the event, representing all 50 US states, as well as the District of Columbia.

A country that sends women into combat as a matter of policy is no longer worth fighting for.

Not only a beauty, she also has a stellar background too.......She’s not a dizzy blonde hoping for world peace.
She was on Fox the other day and asked what a woman was and she skirted it like a pro. Basically, her definition was what her mother was, what other women had achieved, etc. etc. Smart answer.
She hasn't been a blonde for 3-4 months. Actually, if it wasn't for bleach, she has never been a blonde.
Her chance of seeing combat are about as likely as Prince Andrew during the Falklands war. Remember him? Picture her shot down and captured. Could the military handle the loss of their postcard babe?

Women can also shoot guns. So? Women in any combat role is a farce. They are not warriors. Try this exercise...let’s declare that the military can only be comprised of one sex. Which one will you pick? Case closed.
I always hate it when the media cannot get simple military terms correct. First, she is not a soldier, she’s an Airman.
Second, she’s not training to be a Top Gun fighter pilot. Top Gun is a Navy program, not Air Force.

This is a case where the biological difference between men and women is apparent, important, and complimentary. The following are generalizations: Men tend to have faster reflexes. However, due to physiology, women tend to be able to take slightly higher G forces. It’s a good combination. The Israelis figured this out quite a while ago.

I thought graduates of the Academies had to serve for a few years after graduation.
And she’s a butter bar. She’s not a fighter pilot.
I guess we “conservatives” all forgot that the ERA was denied ratification primarily because we didn’t want women to be put in combat roles.
