Does this mean the London cops will take and investigate reports of war crimes by Hamas (using hostages as shields etc) or just those reports agains Isreal? Bet the muslim mayor o London says only the latter.

I've heard that's when most war crimes occur.
But the war crimes are on the side of Hamas and Hezbollah.
Someone recently mentioned traveling to London and there were very few Londoners left. They already replaced their people.
Almost twenty years ago, I rode the train from a location west of London in to Heathrow. It passed through some neighborhoods that looked like some sort of mid-eastern Crapholistan.
In that case, since the canonical laws of Islam encourage rape of captive women, maybe that should be declared a war crime too.

The views, if any, of the Mayor on this matter are irrelevant, since the Mayor has no operational authority over the Metropolitan Police.
I believe it was in 2012 that the Mayor became responsible for the Metropolitan Police’s priorities and performance. Operational matters remained the responsibility of the Commissioner. But if you believe that in setting the priorities for the police that the Mayor has no say on what will and will not be emphasized by the Commissioner then I believe you are pretty naive and you and I will just have to disagree.
