The FBI Headquarters should not be moved to a far away location, but should stay right where it is, in a new and spectacular building, in the best location in our now crime ridden and filthy dirty, graffiti scarred, Capital. They should be involved in bringing back D.C., not running away from it, especially the violent crime. An important part of my platform for President is to bring back, restore, and rebuild Washington, D.C., into the “crown jewel” of our Nation. We will make it crime free and GREAT AGAIN. The FBI should not be fleeing for safer, yet much less convenient, environs. It should make where they are now the safest place on earth! DON’T MOVE THE FBI!

In this case, with my knowledge, I oppose Trumps "plan" for new FBI facilities. I oppose the mere existence of the FBI and many other alphabet fed abuses.
Tell me.. What do YOU (or I) really know about whatever Trump plans or how he plans to implement it? You know.. Trump.. the master of rope-a-dope. The guy who spanked the Bush clan, overwhelmed Hillary's cheating, and likely won 2020 in a landslide?
He’s knows the construction business. By the time they tear down the Hoover building and put up a new one, he’ll be out of office. In the meantime they can work from the Regus rent an office tower in Omaha.
Trump could be worried about the ability of the FBI to affect the election.
Let’s hope his Warp Speed FBI’s new super powers finally enable them to punish ALL Americans who don’t bow to Warp Speed public health.

We heard from writers that proved to be right on Russia, Mueller, Comey, and Durham - that Don Jr. was not trusting of Lindsey Graham and had been lobbying his father.
I think Don Jr. sees these personnel issues clearly over and over.
I am frankly disappointed in seeing the many ridiculous comments on this thread blaming Trump for his total support in restoring the FBI! For God’s Sake why shouldn’t he!??
Some of you wishing the abolition of the entire FBI are unfortunately delusional. It’s on the verge of pure madness.
Let me explain:
If a person has cancer, do you wish to treat him medically?
Or do you say : “Nah, let’s execute him right away instead, way easier and quicker that way!”
Or this example:
When Twitter conspired against Trump some of you would want it “burned to the ground”. But LOOK! Twitter has been RESTORED now right? The bad apples in that company were sacked, and Twitter (or X) can now function rather normally again. No need to destroy the whole company! Just eject the bad apples.
Example 3:
If America has a badly running Government, would some of you then say “Lets eliminate America now, because we don’t like its Government!”. That would be stupid right?? Because its way easier to just change the Government. VOTE! And put in place measures making sure the vote is not stolen this time.
Thats why Trump is a genius. Because he wants to “surgically” extract from any badly functioning organisation all the bad apples within it, WITHOUT killing the ENTIRE organisation. Smart! Quicker! Less expensive!

Folks, the problem is NOT with the building, it’s with the people running the FBI.
Trump is a real estate person - he knows this!
For all the naysayers - you’re missing the point AGAIN and accusing Trump of being foolish. I read his post and two things are VERY clear and simple. He wants the FBI to NOT RUN FROM working in the hellhole of DC but rather FACE IT HEAD-ON and help clean it up not run off to a safe place in Virginia. Then, as as real-estate builder - sure he can see the very old building could use a more modern look and feel. But with all his trashing posts of the INSIDE of 7th Floor of FBI - the leaders - OBVIOUSLY he’s going to gut it of the trash.
This was not really a serious policy statement imo. No reason to get all bent out of shape. I think this is about bolstering his support with blacks. I believe the new FBI HQ location is a done deal. I say this as someone who was hoping DeSantis would be the nominee, and regards the stuff the Only Trumpers have thrown at him as mostly idiotic.
It’s long been reported that the original plan for the new FBI palace actually was hatched while Trump was President, with his full support. This statement by Trump appears to confirm it.

MAGA has always been meaningless. Greatness is entirely subjective. It means whatever The Don says today.
The FBI is not a creation of the Constitution and has, arguably, never been great.
Individual Freedom is what made America great.
A bigger, bolder FBI is highly unlikely to make Americans more free.
A lesser or non-existence FBI would.

Somebody, someone has the brass to completely reorganize the FBI and make it
worthy again. And then, maybe then, plans could be made.
