A majority of registered voters age 18 to 24 in the United States told a Harvard-Harris poll that they want “Israel to be ended and given to Hamas and the Palestinians,” rather than the two-state solution favored by 60% of Americans overall.
The shocking result, after a survey of 2.034 registered voters December 13-14, suggested that young people are profoundly more hostile to Israel than any other age group — a result that accompanies a wave of antisemitic protests on university campuses and in large cities.

Some people here are a bit behind the times. It’s not just the colleges these days. History and social studies courses in high schools (and sometimes earlier) are often way more biased than they used to be. The colleges build on that, to be sure, but the brainwashing is starting younger and younger.

Okay, so your understanding of this conflict is rather shallow and matches very nicely my with your cherished beliefs. That’s perfectly normal.
But when you lose your job (if you are really in Berlin and not in our military nor a defense contractor, in which case you’ll keep sitting pretty), maybe you might be prompted to question and dig deeper and learn. Or maybe not.
