The EU believes it is unlikely to deliver all of the pledged 1 million artillery shells to Ukraine by the March 2024 target, Bloomberg reported on Nov. 10, citing undisclosed sources.

Bloomberg reported earlier in October that with more than half of the allocated time gone, the EU has delivered only 30% of planned supplies and risks missing its target.

The EU has found that lip service doesn’t produce actual goods.

“The EU believes it is unlikely to deliver all of the pledged”

That is Europe for you.

The same as their “pledges” to pay for their own defense within NATO, or to the Bonn Agreement to rebuild Afghanistan, etc..

Oh, they’ll use these ‘borrowed’ shells in the very expensive ‘borrowed’ artillery pieces that require decent maintenance and upkeep. And they’ll wear them out.

I bet Little Kim will provide his one million shells to Putin.. Dictators are like that. But, why should Zelenskyy worry? All the Videos on youtube say he is winning this war.

When we emptied out our depots in Israel, the message was, no worries, this won’t affect anything: https://www.axios.com/2023/01/18/us-sends-israel-stored-weapons-ukraine

Woooops-

This administration is a frigging disaster.

Everything Biden and his entourage of clowns like Jake Sullivan touch, they F#@% up.

I prefer Biden and his team not making any decisions and sticking with eating ice-cream on the beach while giving interviews with CNN or some other libtard MSM which will slobber all over him.

(((THEY))) caused the disaster in Afghanistan.

(((They))) caused a war in Ukraine which was entirely unnecessary.

And now (((they))) can’t figure out how to manage a mid east crisis.

Obama wasn’t good for much as a President either, but he did say one thing which is true, “elections have consequences.”

“I bet Little Kim will provide his one million shells to Putin.”

That seems likely.

North Korea has them on hand (among the largest stockpiles in the World, in the Soviet calibers (122mm and 152mm)), Russia has plenty of value to pay for them (like Military/nuclear technology, oil and grain), and they have already started flowing.

Roughly speaking, North Korean stockpiles (alone) would let Russia keep firing for about a year, at the rate they have been. Russia itself probably has a year’s worth (at this rate of fire) remaining in inventory. Both countries are ramping up production, and they have plenty of the raw material to make more. Their combined production is currently still far below the rate that Russia is firing, but they have time and capability to realistically ramp up.

Artillery shells are among the last things that I would expect Russian forces to run out of.

The situation with Russian major combat platforms, like tanks, Attack Helicopters, Close Air Support jets, Artillery tubes and rocket launchers, High/Medium Altitude Air Defense Systems and Electronic Warfare systems however; is significantly different. Losses are greatly outstripping production, and inventories are generally over 1/2 to 2/3rds depleted.

It seems unlikely that Russia will be able to increase production of those systems to a replacement rate before inventories are depleted, at the current rates of losses. They would likely require massive external supply to maintain this rate of losses beyond next year.

North Korea wants a place at the Table as a member of the New Axis. If the Big war comes—and If they win (a really big if) they will have a say so over the division of the world. Maybe get a piece of South Korea? an Island from Japan? For Kim an alliance with Moscow is a win-win.

To hear the Russia lovers talk about it, the Ukrainians won’t have any artillery left with which to shoot the ammunition by then.
