Far-left Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron barred Trump and Trump’s family members from transferring assets or creating new entities without notifying an appointed court monitor on day 4 of Letitia James’ Stalinist show trial.
The independent court monitor, Barbara Jones, is a former federal judge appointed by Bill Clinton.
Nothing to see here, move along.

As the questioning of witnesses continues, Judge Engoron has issued an order outlining the next steps to dissolve Trump’s companies in New York.
Engoron last week found that Trump and his adult sons used fraudulent documents to conduct business, and ordered the cancellation of his business certificates in the state. Trump appealed that ruling yesterday.
In today’s order, Engoron asks the defendants to provide a list of “entities controlled or beneficially owned by Donald J. Trump” — and the other co-defendants — to the Hon. Barbara S. Jones, the independent monitor overseeing Trump’s business activities.
Trump is also required to notify Jones of any new business applications or changes to preexisting entities.

Trump likely can only transfer properties and business interests that are outside of New York State. Since he is being barred from doing further business in New York State he cannot transfer anything within NY to family members or any business he is affiliated with. Those will probably have to be sold if this horrible order is not overturned.
As a further kick in the pants, since he is being forced to liquidate his properties, potential buyers can play hardball with the prices and terms. Not every Trump property is a big moneymaker and part of their value is the “Trump” brand (which will disappear) so those will possibly sell for wayyy below what they are valued at now.
Good question! I doubt it with this judge.

But let’s just imagine they were and Jamal got expelled. He’d easily win re-election and the House would have to seat him according to a SCOTUS ruling in the case of Adam Clayton Powell.
Yes, if you or I pulled a fire alarm in the House Office Building when there was no fire, we’d be sitting in a jail cell right now. And if it could be even slightly shown we were trying to stop a vote in Congress, we’d still be doing time five years from now. Equal justice under the law.

He needs to appeal to the Appellate Division tonight to put an END to this Show-trial.
They wouldn’t. They are only concerned about their “brand” and their own skin.
Higher courts are going to have to step in soon and issue some type of emergency ruling. To wait and allow the normal years-long legal process of appeals will destroy every single one of the Trump family’s businesses. I assume Trump’s legal team is appealing the judge’s mid-trial orders.
