Wow!! This is an incredible video. It’ll make great evidence for an appeal, I think.

Another prize for “The Misleading Headline of the Month”

Maybe something like “Judge in Trump NY case…” instead of “Trump judge”…

An honest, independent, unbiased judge would have thrown this case out because it is bogus on its face.

No fraud is possible because of how Trump valued his own properties, above or below market.

Banks don't accept the value opinions of property owners or buyers when making loan decisions. Banks determine property value for commercial loans by getting appraisals from certified, professional, independent commercial property appraisers.

Yep, the same as a residential mortgage.
In this case we have a ‘crime’ with no victim. The banks made the loans. Trump paid the loans back, plus interest.
“Crime” of the century with no victim.

He shouldn’t even be a “judge” in traffic court.

Actually, we have a trial with no crime.

It's not a crime for you or me to walk into a bank and ask for a $50 million home equity loan on our billion-dollar 3-bedroom/2-bath home.

It may be silly or insane, but it isn't a crime any more than it is to make a $100 offer on that beautiful new red Ferrari on the showroom floor.

Yes. We have the old Soviet quote -- "Show me the man, I'll find the crime." But that hasn't worked very well with Trump. They have targeted this man for years but he's so clean that they really can't get him for any "crimes" no matter how hard they try. So, now they're skipping the whole deal and just having a trial with no need for a crime. Get the right judge, and just grab Trump's stuff.

“Actually, we have a trial with no crime.”

Thank you for sharing with me some of your obviously superior knowledge.
Would you believe that someone out here in Flyover land knew this? That is why I put CRIME in parentheses. That was a little nuance I learned in Mrs Kitchell’s 5th grade English, back in 1952 or so.
Thank you again.

It was not my intention to offend you. It’s early here and I didn’t notice your quotation marks.

Uh Oh, Mrs. Kitchell might be dismayed that she skipped the lesson on the difference between quotation marks and parentheses.

I’m just teasing ya. Thought the irony of your post was just too good to pass up.

Hope your day is a great one!

I genuinely don’t understand why banks require loan applications on real estate if the borrower’s info is to be disregarded.

Well, state law requires a license to provide valuations on properties used to document business deals. The judge does not possess such license, yet provided a valuation that differed from Trump’s, and used it in their ‘ruling’. No commercial appraiser was used by the court, who does have a license to provide valuations.
