Donald Trump has made history by becoming the first former president to pose for a mugshot after his arrest for trying to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia - and he shared the image on X, the platform formally known as Twitter.
The 77-year-old was arrested for the fourth time this year and fingerprinted by authorities at the Fulton County jail.
Unlike with his previous three arrests - in New York City, Miami and Washington DC - on Thursday in Atlanta he had his booking photo taken.
It was his first tweet since January 2021.
Trump's height of 6ft 3 and weight of 215lbs were recorded and, as part of the booking process, he was given a prisoner identification number: P01135809.
He was then released on payment of 10 percent of his $200,000 bail, having spent less than 20 minutes inside the infamous facility.

For better or worse, I'm the exact same size as DJT. I'd say he's lost a good bit of weight. I think he was more pushing 240 when he was in office. Like I said, I'm familiar with the frame.

Looking at the Baltimore Ravens roster that is consistent with Lamar Jackson 6’2”and 215 lbs and most of the team’s wide receivers. Trump is NFL height and weight for skilled position players. Anyone knocking his weight is a nerd that knows nothing about athletes or fitness.

After nine hours on Twitter that Trump posting has been viewed 104 million times with a million likes. On Truth he’s a few thousand interactions. Just because the corrupt police state has intimidated many of us from aggressively speaking out, we do realize the danger America is in. An unleashed Trump on Twitter and every “newscast” every day through the trials gives Trump billions of dollars worth of exposure to make his case about saving us from those dangers. The Uniparty screwed up by not leaving Trump ignored and incommunicado.

If he was convicted in a court of law, found guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt, guilty of Treason, Yes.

That is obvious and not just here. I looked on my FB feed and all my friends are posting about the usual things:
—witty jokes
—KFC is supposedly going to all credit sales, quite a few talked about that
—and of course the 20 so “Cutesy” pic of them stuffing food in their faces, sitting with their kids, wearing something stupid they think is pretty
—a few sad pics of people they lost
—jokes and memes, lots
NONE not a single story about Trump. The amount of Ostrich sticking heads in sand behavior I’m seeing is epic.
Right now I’m disgusted with all of them a little.
Suddenly I don’t feel so bad about all of this after seeing that
“If Trump did commit a crime, would you support prosecution?”
You ask that, and Biden is guilty of treason?
