I think it’s more a statement on the vapidness of the general public.
Didn't see it. Thought about taking my 6 y/o daughter but the reviews said it wasn't age-appropriate.
The trailer looked visually impressive with a few funny jokes for the adults. It looked like a fun movie.
I'm not surprised it made a boatload of money. I think (some) conservatives spent too much time whining about it, looking like curmudgeonly old killjoys.
It's the Barbie Movie for crying out loud, not Citizen Kane.
You dodged that bullet! I thought it looked stupid but my grandson wanted to see it (was between Barbie and the turtle movie). The movie was geared towards teens and adults, it was 2 hrs, incredibly stupid, boring; they even made Ryan Gosling (who is very handsome) look horrible with platinum hair. I was hoping my GS would get bored so we could leave. The kicker was the theatre was packed with middle aged women. Wish he had picked the turtles cuz it had to be better than Barbie.
