President Joe Biden appears to be facing increasing demands to declare a climate emergency, like the one declared for the COVID-19 pandemic that had a devastating impact on the country, warns a top advocate for the U.S. oil and gas industry.
"They're leaning to that direction," U.S. Oil and Gas Association President Tim Stewart recently told Just the News. "If you grant the president's emergency powers to declare a climate emergency, it's just like COVID.”
Stewart also said such a declaration would give the president “vast and unchecked authority to shut down everything from communications to infrastructure."
He said infrastructure would include water and electricity, and that Biden also could freeze assets under such a declaration.

No one in DC cares that China just dropped out of the UN climate agreements. And did this when idiot John Kerry was in China. China and India courld care less about how much CO2 they send into the atmosphere.

Speaking of unexpected deaths, you have to wonder what the Obama chef’s last thoughts were as he was held underwater to drown. Was the money and prestige worth it? I also wonder what he saw or overheard to have them decide he was a risk they couldn’t just leave unresolved. For I certainly don’t believe the official story of an accidental drowning.
By my count, nations that put up 28% of the CO2 care about CO2 and global warming. This is the US, Canada, Australia, Japan and various European nations. The other 72% don’t give a damn how they generate electricity, heat their buildings, fuel their automobiles. They do it the best and least expensive way.
So how can the 28% stop global warming when the 72% burn fossil fuels with abandon?

"During the period of a national emergency, of any special or extraordinary power, the President is authorized to declare such national emergency. Such proclamation shall immediately be transmitted to the Congress and published in the Federal Register."
"Any national emergency declared by the President in accordance with this title shall terminate if— (1) Congress terminates the emergency by concurrent resolution ; or (2) the President issues a proclamation terminating the emergency."
