A new study claims red states like Florida and Texas are the worst in the nation to "live and work" despite these states leading the nation in net migration.

CNBC's annual "Top States for Business" report broke down its rankings based on each state's commitment to "Life, Health and Inclusion." While Texas and Florida led the nation as best for business, the outlet slapped the red states for inadequate policies supporting abortion, child care, the LGBTQ community, and voting rights.

Texas ranked as worst in the nation to "live and work", along with Oklahoma, South Carolina, Arkansas and Florida. The study specifically cited Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's "War on Woke," and Texas's anti-"Inclusion" policies and "dismal" health care.

To which the Citizens of red states loudly agree and say "Tell your friends, stay away, it's awful here, you'd hate it" as they nudge each other on the elbow and chuckle.

Yet, Texas and Florida and other red states, are the only ones attractive enough for people in blue cities to move to, and those red states are also the only ones growing economically while the blue states are losing population and have their economies shrinking and many in actual recession.

No doubt CNBC doesn’t want people to notice the real facts regarding Texas and Florida, so, has to tell tall tales which are opposite to the real truth. Can’t have democrats and blue states looking bad in comparison to the red states, but the people know the truth and that’s why they’re going to Texas and Florida and other red states.

he outlet slapped the red states for inadequate policies supporting abortion, child care, the LGBTQ community, and voting rights.>>>> So they penalize the states for being the best place to live. Not kill babies, not have a government raise your kids, and not have your children mutilated. So it really is a good place to LIVE!

Does CNBC report that NY is facing a 10 billion shortfall because of the mass migration OUT of the state due to high taxes and poor leadership? So they will raise taxes an more will leave, it's called a vicious cycle

I happen to love Texas and if I was not living in NC would be living in Texas. Houston to be precise.

No, everybody’s welcome in Oklahoma. Wonderful place to live. Just one thing. We’ve moved. The state of Oklahoma is now 200 miles southeast of Houston. If you can’t find it, keep driving. You’ll get there.

Ha! You have nothing on Utah. If you travel to Utah you WILL be kidnapped by a 260 pound woman in overalls and forced to work on a church farm. Stay out. For your own good. I hear Seattle is a nice place to move to instead.

Can’t speak for Florida but as a 7th generation Texican I must warn potential outsiders wanting to move here that it is awful. Sweltering heat, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, football size hail - and thats just the band names. There’s giant baby-eating scorpions, alligators in every ditch and all of the cows fart loudly. You have been warned. Bless your heart.

We live in a senior community in the Ozarks.
About half of the residents here are refugees from Illinois.

Absolutely correct.

Oklahoma is the very worst state in the US. Any sane person would stay away. Not only is it backward socially it is also living in the dark ages in tax policy and services. The roads are terrible, like just one huge pothole from one side of the state to the other.

The Indians and their new found independence via McGirt have made them far too bold and they will take over against the white eyes as soon as they can. Meanwhile, law enforcement and the judicial system is a can of snakes.

These things are just the tip of the iceberg. Oklahoma is a terrible place to live. Stay away.
