CNBC declares Florida, Texas among 'worst' in nation to live and work, despite huge migration numbers

A new study claims red states like Florida and Texas are the worst in the nation to "live and work" despite these states leading the nation in net migration.

CNBC's annual "Top States for Business" report broke down its rankings based on each state's commitment to "Life, Health and Inclusion." While Texas and Florida led the nation as best for business, the outlet slapped the red states for inadequate policies supporting abortion, child care, the LGBTQ community, and voting rights.

Texas ranked as worst in the nation to "live and work", along with Oklahoma, South Carolina, Arkansas and Florida. The study specifically cited Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's "War on Woke," and Texas's anti-"Inclusion" policies and "dismal" health care.

CNBC’s love for abortion and the LGBTQ nazis has clouded its judgement.

All of these sorts of descriptions of states, depend on the criteria they are using.

They talk of LGBT and such issues. Some of those issues are not important to many people. Some people might actually want to move away from places which are more liberal on LGBT. Some people might be happy to move to a place with restricted abortion laws. While the liberal view is that Georgia’s voter law is “Jim Crow”, or as Joe Biden said “Jim Eagle”, most reasonable people know it is not Jim Crow, and such a law won’t dissuade them from moving to such a state.

The way they evaluate what they say are the important criteria, run counter to the criteria many of us would have, in deciding whether to move to another state.

I’d take that as a badge of honor. I would avoid like the plague any state that scored highly on this.

Of course this is true. America is the absolute worst place in the universe too. That’s why millions of illegals come here each year. It is so obvious. ( I paid the $1.45 for the extra sarcasm ).

Move to San Fransisco. Free needle and poop, tents can be set up anywhere, and everywhere is a capitalism free zone.

CNBC opining on Florida is like Rolling Stone complaining that “The Sound of Freedom” is no good because everyone’s going to see it.

4 biggest states in terms of population are California, Texas, Florida and New York. Ca and NY are dim and Tex and Fla are pub. Take your pick.

They’ve got to be kidding. Look at the massive emigration out of California and New York state in the last 20 years due to ill-advised government policies.

When I was young and stupid (around 1978), I figured the local newspaper must have sage advice on who to vote for in elections. My paper at the time was the San Jose Mercury News and I had no clue as to their liberal radicalism. I followed their recommendations for an election or two, then began thinking for myself and realized I needed to vote COMPLETELY OPPOSITE their endorsements.

The same applies today and this article is an excellent example. A good Basic Rule of Life is to do the exact opposite of everything that CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, NYT, WAPO, et al recommends or endorses.

I'm surprised that Idaho isn't on their "Your State Sucks" hit parade (maybe we are at #3 or #4). Things are so bad here that we actually warn off those who might think about moving here. Think of it as a public service announcement.

I couldn't think of any WORSE things to consider when thinking about a new place to live than their list: "inclusion, abortion, child care, the LGBTQ community, and voting rights."

"Voting rights" to CNBC means the freedom for Dems to conduct completely fraudulent elections.

Here in Tennessee we even outlawed free tranny surgery for schoolchildren!

Can you imagine having to live here and your kid can’t get sterilized for free?!

Don’t come here!

Oh the humanity!

Well. I shall just have to make do with all the disadvantages of living in Florida. I can scarcely see any gain to moving into a so-called “blue” state, but then, I probably would not have the means to make a major move now anyway.

You know, I once considered California, but a million dollars for a two-bedroom bungalow in 2002 was a little out of my price range.

Situation all around in California has not improved in the least.
