Gov. Youngkin Cuts Transgender Activists’ Access to Kids

3:23 Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) has closed down state-run Internet links that provided pro-transgender activists with direct and private access to vulnerable teenagers.

The shut-down programs, according to the Washington Post, included:

Queer Kid Stuff, a resource for children and families that launched its video series in 2016 with a piece exploring the question, “What Does Gay Mean?” and Q Chat Space, which offers live, facilitated chats for LGBTQ+ teenagers. Neither site requires adult permission to use, which some conservatives say they find troubling but LGBTQ+ experts say is essential for youth who need support and are not comfortable bringing their questions to a family member.

Can’t drink or own a gun until you’re 21. And you can’t vote until 18. But a child can take puberty blockers have their hormones messed with and junk mutilated whenever the mood strikes them. No need to wait until adulthood when their more capable of informed consent and exercising due diligence.

It’s funny how lawmakers can never find things to cut from appropriations and spending increases every year. It’s true at the federal level, state level and even most local governments. The idea of the government running perverted websites indicates that there is massive waste in everything government does.

We need to demand lawmakers cut real spending every year until we actually notice a negative impact from a lack of government in our lives, then make them cut more. It’s the only way that people will become responsible for their own lives.

They should have been shut down the first time it was publicized on day 1. Better late than never...
