It’s NOT a “sweeping” gag order. He can still talk about the case in general terms and proclaim his innocence. He just can’t discuss the actual evidence.
Is that unfair? I’m on the fence - I agree that arguing a trial in public is bad. But our corrupt government has been doing that already so the evidence IS already public.
Correction: What the government CLAIMS is evidence IS already public. The same government that lies to the citizenry every day, about everything.
