Didn’t the Georgia GOP leaders backstab MAGA too?

I suspect that neither one of them wanted to be seen in the company of the arch-insurrectionist. They knew that the response to Trump would be thunderous and the response to them would be extremely muted.

A true leader, a true contender would come out and make a direct appeal to Trump supporters. They would be forceful and show some passion.

Pence? That guy sounds so overly prepared when he speaks you know he is just putting on an act.

DeSantis? He doesn't want anything to do with Trump supporters.

Mike Pence drops out as keynote speaker for Georgia's GOP Convention

Former Vice President Mike Pence has announced that he is unable to be the keynote speaker for Georgia's GOP Convention next week.

Republican Party Chair David Shafer emailed delegates on Wednesday about the change, noting that Pence will not participate due to a televised national town hall where Pence will be making an announcement regarding future plans.

The former Arizona candidate for governor Kari Lake will take his place as the keynote speaker on Friday, June 9.

—————————————————

I heard on Bannon that ticket sales were the lowest ever with Pence. When Lake replaced Pence, tickets sold out in two hours.

Now she clutched him to her bosom, "You're so beautiful," she cried "But if I hadn't brought you in by now you might have died" Now she stroked his pretty skin again and then kissed and held him tight But instead of saying thanks, that DeSnakis gave her a vicious bite (ooh) "Take me in, oh, tender woman (yes, come on in) Take me in, for heaven's sake (yes, come on in) Take me in, tender woman," sighed the DeSnakis

"I saved you," cried that woman "And you've bitten me, even why? And you know your bite is poisonous and now I'm gonna die" "Oh, shut up, silly woman," said that reptile with a grin "Now you knew darn well I was a DeSnakis before you brought me in"

The DeSnakis

Now he clutched him to his bosom, "You're sort of beautiful," he cried
"But if I hadn't endorsed you by now you would have died"
Now he stroked his fake MAGA skin again and then endorsed and held him right
But instead of saying thanks, that despicable DeSnakis gave him a vicious bite (ooh)

"Take me in, oh, Magnificent Donald (yes, come on in)
Take me in, for heaven's sake (yes, come on in)
Take me in, Magnificent Donald," sighed the DeSnakis

"I saved you," cried the Trump
"And you've bitten me, even why?
And you know your bite is poisonous and now I'm gonna die"
"Oh, shut up, silly Donald," said that reptile with a grin
"Now you knew darn well I was a DeSnakis before you brought me in"

This may sound radical but, Trump should offer RFK jr as chance to express his views on a special forum of some type.

Much as I cant stand RFK jr on a lot of his agenda, he is being censored by his party and that is not right.

RFK says he cant stand Trump, well then, if given the chance to break outside the circle of jerks in DC that are stopping him from his campaign, he should take an offer if given.

My point of this is...throw a GD monkey wrench into the elites works and sit back and watch them try to get out from under that one.

We have not a two party system any longer. It is a one party system and we all got to understand it is liberty against tyranny. There is no republican or democrat party. They are the same. One side of the same coin..one more radical than the other.

And NO WAY, should Trump try and take RFK jr as a running mate.

I watched DeSantis’ speech last night at the North Carolina GOP Convention. Well delivered and on point throughout. He was well received by the NC delegates.

As for Trump, at this point he is in serious legal peril, largely of his own doing. I agree that there is selective prosecution on the part of the FBI/DOJ, but why did he give his opponents such an easy opening to go after him? Why did he deceive his own lawyers throughout this fiasco? He could have easily returned the materials upon request and put this matter to bed.

I recognize Trump’s loyal army has the capacity to rationalize most anything he does, but it looks like he has really stepped over the line on this one. It’s interesting to see individuals that were heretofore Trump apologists jumping ship (Turley, Dershowitz, Mick Mulvanely, McCarthy and others).

If DeSantis is wise, he would publicly commit to pardoning Trump for the good of the country, similar to what Ford did for Nixon.

I agree.

He did, after all, breathe first thing in the morning, and he had the gall to do it, everyday!

The nerve!

Yes, and believe an effort is underway to reclaim power from them, in this convention.

DeSantis, the most pro-MAGA Governor at this time. From 2A, to illegal immigration, to taking on the gay mafia, DeSantis has been exactly on target.
