Zelensky Admits Fear of Trump 2024, Begs for More Patriot Missile Systems

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that he is afraid of a possible return of Donald Trump to the White House in 2024, before begging for more American-made Patriot missile systems.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted he has concerns about the possible re-election of Donald Trump next year, saying that he was unsure how exactly the Republican leader would have reacted had Russia invaded during his presidency.

The Ukrainian head-of-state also praised the response of the Biden administration, which has regularly handed over billions of dollars worth of weapons aid to the Eastern European nation since Moscow’s invasion began last year.

Asked how he felt about Donald Trump, Zelensky admitted that he was more comfortable with dealing with Biden and that the return of a Republican-led government could end up being difficult for his war effort.

“President Biden is the president during a full-scale war and he has been more helpful to us than President Trump,” Zelensky told the interviewer, qualifying the statement by noting that there “was no full-scale war” going on while Trump was in office.

“In a situation like this, when there is support, you are afraid of changes,” Zelensky said. “And to be honest, when you mention a change of administration, I feel the same way as anyone… You want changes for the better, but it can also be the other way around.”

He also appeared uncomfortable with Donald Trump’s claim that he would be able to negotiate a peace settlement to the Ukraine War within 24 hours, adding that the 45th American leader did not seem to care that Ukrainian territory — namely Crimea — was being “occupied” by Russia during his presidency after being illegally annexed under the Obama administration in 2014.

Trump will cut off the Money.

I don’t think so. I do think he’ll get the EU to pay their fair share.

There will be many issues.

1. Technology loss, i.e. enemy threats getting their hands on our tech and developing systems to counter it.

2. Loss and black market sales of our own weapon systems, potentially to be used against us or an ally in a future scenario.

3. Potential shortages in specific ordinance or weapon systems in the case we need them. Albeit I doubt the (((severity))) of the reports to this end. Having seen some of the stockpiles we have, I think we could wage WWIII and IV and not exhaust what we have. The real risk here is certain specific systems, not across the board.

4. Our “war industrial complex” will benefit, but in the game of guns vs. butter, the US tax payer will get soaked, no differently than during Vietnam: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guns_versus_butter_model

5. (the worst problem long term) We re-opened a door that thank God had been closed by cool and rational minds circa 1989-1991. Expect Russia to return the favor in the future, i.e. arm our enemies. The proxy war games will restart, as in the Cold War with Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan. Do you really think North Vietnam, which could not even manufacture a car tire in 1968, built SA-2 missiles which brought down our B52s, MIG-21 fighters which shot down some of our fighters, RPG-7s which had just been developed two years prior?

***We are spread out thin, are across the world, and we have many enemies. We are in places where we deny we are, i.e. Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. If they play it smart, it won’t be that hard to target us.

Macro level view: https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_x7xNgfhbbWo/TLxegWcfLTI/AAAAAAAAAxA/OT60sHnDmGY/s1600/bases444.jpg

Africa has been an area of emphasis in the last years: https://issafrica.s3.amazonaws.com/site/images/2019-08-27-iss-today-foreign-military-map.png

Location of US SF forces around the world: https://www.thenation.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/socom_map_td_img.jpg

All the Russians have to do is send some folks (trainers) with a supply of Verba missiles to some group that don’t like us and the rest will take care of itself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_militias_in_Iraq Pick one that you think despises us the most and is willing/able to take action. It’s all bullshit... we never left Iraq and now 12 years later it’s OK to talk about the still 2,500 US troops in country there since the elections are long over. 2,500 troops, plus all the diplomatic staff, intel folks, private contractors, etc.: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/why-u-s-forces-remain-in-iraq-20-years-after-shock-and-awe

Eventually, as things stabilize for the Russians and their war industrial base ramps and catches up, as they identify who they can use as proxies and begin to reach out to them, they WILL return the favor.

But one thing I am certain of, just like Nazi’s aren’t so bad now, and terrorism is OK too, when the Russians hit us back with a dose of our own medicine, there will be outrage that they did this. How dare they arm someone that kills our boys? It’ll be interesting to see how our entirely non-propagandist media will spin this.

“In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted he has concerns about the possible re-election of Donald Trump next year, saying that he was unsure how exactly the Republican leader would have reacted had Russia invaded during his presidency.”

Russia wouldn’t have needed to invade, as US support for a war wouldn’t have existed, and the Europeans are pretty much toothless. So Ukraine would have been forced to find a non-violent solution.

But elections have consequences - the Neocons wound up in power and the war they planned under Skunk Cabbage (with the assumption that Trump would have lost to her) could finally get their war started.

I seriously doubt Russia would have invaded under Trump, so it’s a moot point.

I think anybody with half a brain knows why Zelensky doesn’t want Trump in the White House.

Sniffer and Trump will help Ukraine for different reasons. Sniffer, because, Putin is not Lenin, and, Trump, because, Putin is KGB.

It’s unlikely that Putin would have attacked if Trump were president.

If he did, I’m pretty sure Trump wouldn’t have okayed a “minor incursion.”

It’s even more unlikely that Ukraine will ever get Crimea back.

If that’s what this war is about, this war won’t end in our lifetime.

My fears exactly with each weapons system we give the little grifter. Based on the comment it sounds like he is expecting to be engaged in the war after the inauguration in 2025.

I think I agree with you. But it's one of those what ifs in History.

Trump said he wants the DYING to stop, while Zelensky wants the dying to continue.

If Puppet Biden gets his way, there will be much, much more dying of Ukrainians, until there are no more of them remaining.
