LinkedIn has censored GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for “misinformation” and “hate speech” in seemingly anodyne posts about climate change and the threat of China — as a new internal poll shows him third behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump among Republican primary voters.
The entrepreneur’s account has been blocked for more than a week over three posts deemed offensive by LinkedIn, specifically:
“The CCP is playing the Biden administration like a Chinese mandolin.”
“If the climate religion was really about climate change, then they’d be worried about, say, shifting oil production from the U.S. to places like Russia and China.”
“The climate agenda is a lie: fossil fuels are a requirement for human prosperity.”
On Thursday morning, Ramaswamy tweeted a screenshot of a Tuesday email from LinkedIn that read: “Your account was restricted for repeatedly sharing content that contains misleading or inaccurate information.”

Just for perspective, LinkedIn founder is billionaire Reid Hoffman, the guy sponsoring the E Jean Carroll sexual harassment lawsuit against Trump.

Linked in is a odd platform anyway, I don’t really understand it... its a “social” platform, but its mostly folks trying to drum up a sales pipeline for whatever it is they are selling

I like Vivek. He’s a bright guy who I think, would make an excellent cabinet secretary in the Trump administration.
The way of the world. Truth tellers are suppressed while purveyors of the Lie are allowed to run free. In fact it’s a good rule of thumb if in doubt about which side to believe on any given issue.

Yes, its a sales and networking tool. Microsoft bought it a decade ago. All the articles mention Linkedin. Noone is mentioning Microsoft. The reason Microsoft owns Linkedin is that they specialize in connecting people. They use advertising and social media to figure out who is talking to who. Its exactly what the CIA and FBI want. They use Advertising as an excuse to keep track of everyone’s business and their contacts. Why get a warrant when you have FB Linkedin and Google to spy for you.
If you’re not paying for LinkedIn’s service then the decision to host an account is all theirs.
Just closed Linkedin Account... I urge others to do the same.
