I think by mid-summer the military will tell the state dept. to stand down. Their fantasy that they can just color revolution Russian satellites and get away with them has gone too far and it really will get us all killed.

Well, with these idiots like Nuland, it’s 50/50, like the first horseman. It’s scary.

American society is not in shape to maintain (not to mention grow) an empire, particularly through warfare. Our “leaders” in Washington DC are utterly and completely disconnected from reality.

“nato inability to help ukraine”

Was the complete failure of the Russian Winter Offensive done with no help from NATO? Very impressive fighting by Ukraine then.

Ukraine winning on their own, without being beholden to the West, is the best possible outcome.

There was no Russian offensive. I've noticed you have no clue what's going on. The Russian strategy so far is to use their superior fires to attrit the UFA in the trenches. This is why Ukrainian units keep pouring into Donestsk (or the meat grinder, as they say).

Let’s see how confident our military gets as the recruitment drop crisis gets worse over the next ten years.

Better yet, let’s watch the Dems try to activate the Draft to make up for the difference. #1 way to lose elections

Ritter has been predicting failure for over a year, right?

Facing Face it. NATO tried to bully Russia Edit didn’t work out for them Russia is losing prisoners and the worst of the worst in their armies who they have in the Ukraine it’s way of them Weeding out the weak.g the Real army hasn’t even moved into Ukraine in . Fighting in Ukraine is being done by conscripts and mercenaries.

I’ll tell you something else,i the west is gonna be there their superior technology against Russia’s weak technology. both Russia and china are coming up with ways to do things old school like dumping kerosene (jet fuel) on a drone and messing up the camera with that oily crap.

Hate to have to be the one to inform you of this, but Russian miltech is better than ours all across the board. And Russians are getting that tech in numbers sufficiient NOW, not five or ten years from now like the nato fops and neocon wankers are promising the hohos...

Russia’ military technology is far inferior to the US.

The problem is that high tech weapons are expensive and take a long time to produce.

We have went through 7 years of Javelin and Stinger missile production in Ukraine in less than a year. Our stocks are getting critically low and they cannot be replenished due to covid supply chain destruction

Europe is in even worse shape.

The risk we run is that the Ukraine conflict is designed by NATO simply to burn up weaponry in hopes of degrading Russia's military by grinding it down in Ukraine proxy wars.

Unfortunately, NATO is grinding it's own war fighting capability down faster than it's grinding down Russia's

And Russia is just starting to mobilize while NATO dithers and depletes it's war reserves, especially the expensive high tech magic consumables that come hard and go fast.

The risk is that NATO depletes itself and then tells Ukraine “No Mas” after Ukrainin’s spendthrift use of “free” NATO smart weapons forces NATO to cut them off.

Massive infusions of NATO weaponry is the only thing keeping Ukraine afloat and it seems likely that they will get cut off just about the time Russia is properly mobilized and is getting serious.

If (when?) this happens, Ukrainian military effectiveness will collapse at precisely the same time Russia is seriously mobilized and going on the offensive.

We are at serious risk of a Russian victory in Ukraine that leaves a resurgent Russia in control of the entire country and sitting on the borders of weakened, depleted and demoralized NATO which is a very dangerous place to be.

Add in a very geographically difficult to counter move by China against Taiwan to tie down the US and the EU could find themselves hard pressed and in a very difficult position.

A fully mobilized EU would have little difficulty with Russia, but a mobilized Russia could give the Ukraine depleted EU a very bad time now that the Ukraine conflict has exposed the current weakness of European military capability. The EU is so bogged down with energy shortages, supply chain problems and outright self inflicted de industrialization that they are in no position to fight a high intensity, high technology war just now.

Superiority is determined by effectiveness on the battlefield. SACEUR has admitted that the US and NATO were utterly unprepared for the intensity of combat in Ukraine. The Russian ability to sustain high rates of fire for a year now was utterly unanticipated. The west did not understand the flaw in its doctrine to combat lots of low tech firepower with small numbers of precision high tech ie horrendously expensive weapons systems. You just cannot afford enough of it and can’t build enough of it anyway.

Two things to consider...

WRT miltech, lack of quantity or complexity that prevents sufficient quantities being built should be viewed as a design flaw.

and

You need to consider whose side God is most likely to be on in a confrontation between Christians and Nazis. Clint Eastwood said (good/bad/ugly) that God Hates idiots; that could easily go at least double for nazi idiots...

There was no Russian offensive.

But we were told that it was surely coming, and that it would be mighty, and would roll all the way to Lviv.

What happened?

Answer: There WAS an offensive, and it lasted only about three days before it bogged down and failed.

Period.

Videos show Russians losing dozens of armored vehicles in Ukrainian ambush

BTW, the obligatory Scott Ritter perp walk photo:

We’re on same side of that. I think these Warmongers Are vastly underestimate the capabilities above Russia and China. These guys know they keep The capabilities of the United States army because United States likes to show off they like to shock and awe and show their good toys! She I think the west view is both Russia and china as some kind of 3rd world country that was suddenly given 10,000,000 bucks, and you know, would jit doesn’t know how to spend. That it they’re not as sophisticated as the proud big brains of the west.
Personally I’d, I think it’s the west it’s gonna be in for a very nasty surprise

Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, says NATO has been providing “training and equipment” to Ukraine’s military since “the war started in 2014.”

How many Americans know that NATO has been arming Ukraine since the war started in 2014?
