President Trump took a common sense approach to reinvigorating the American public education system on Monday in Davenport, Iowa, making a big promise that drew thunderous applause from thousands of supporters in the audience.
“I will immediately sign a new EO to cut federal funding for any school that’s pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity and any other racial, sexual or political content on our children – THEY’RE CHILDREN,” he said.
He also stated that he would “bring back parental rights into our school system,” hitting on an incredibly popular campaign policy that American parents have responded positively to since its introduction this year.
In February, Trump promised to stop the “left-wing gender insanity being pushed on our children,” labeling it as “child abuse.”
Per his original policy video, Trump stated, “I will sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition at any age. I will then ask Congress to permanently stop taxpayer dollars from being used to promote or pay for these procedures and pass a law prohibiting sexual mutilation in all 50 states.”
On Monday night, Trump pointed out that the “country has gone crazy with this nonsense,” pointing out that the only people that would introduce gender concepts are “people that hate our country.”

While Trump's plan to cut funding for INTRAstate schools is constitutionally the right remedy, it's for the wrong reason imo.
Militia training aside, Trump needs to cut federal funding for all schools, and simultanueouly lower federal taxes, for the simple reason that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to dictate policy, regulate, tax and spend in the name of INTRAstate schooling.
"The great mass of the articles on which impost is paid is foreign luxuries, purchased by those only who are rich enough to afford themselves the use of them. Their patriotism would certainly prefer its continuance and application to the great purposes of the public education, roads, rivers, canals, and such other objects of public improvement as it may be thought proper to add to the constitutional enumeration of federal powers [emphasis added].” —Thomas Jefferson: 6th Annual Message, 1806." (Jefferson is indicating that Congress cannot tax and spend in the name of intrastate infrastructure imo.)
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"The power to regulate manufactures is no more confided to congress, than the power to interfere with the systems of education, the poor laws, or the road laws of the states [emphases added]." —Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2, 1833.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Patriots, the bottom line is this imo. What is your threshold of “pain” for peacefully stopping unconstitutionally big state and federal governments controlled by bully, constitutionally undefined political parties, from oppressing the people under their boots?
The inevitable remedy for ongoing, post-17A ratification, corrupt political party treason (imo)...
All MAGA patriots need to wake up their RINO federal and state lawmakers by making the following clear to them.
If they don’t publicly support either a resolution, or a Constitutional Convention, to effectively "secede" ALL the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government by amending the Constitution to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A), doing so before the primary elections in 2024, that YOU will primary them.
If the proposed amendment was limited strictly to repealing 16&17A, relatively little or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification of the amendment imo.
With 16&17A out of the way, my hope is that Trump 47 becomes the FIRST president of a truly constitutionally limited power federal government.
In the meanwhile, I'm not holding my breath for significant MAGA legislation to appear in the first 100 days of new term for what may still prove to be another RINO-controlled House.
Trump will hopefully do another round of primarying RINOs for 2024 elections.
Puhlease… the man with a presidential record of mail in ballots, lockdowns, big pharma taxpayer billions, travel restrictions, unless you’re his unvetted Syrians…
Now he wants to pay people to have babies… after all the discovery that his payouts to keep people home and businesses closed were filled with corruption. He wants to repeat it.
Sounds very European and socialist.
Not small government.
No one should accept the wacky idea that it is normal to be transgendered. That condition isn’t even real. It is simply childish confusion that isn’t outgrown. They need counseling, not coddling. Either do it in school in a sensitive and constructive way, or they will be rejected on the streets and shunned elsewhere. To humor them is not helping them, and is putting your children at risk.
Leftist judges everywhere would rule against Trump and impose injunctions. Not saying he can’t or shouldn’t do this, but the resistance is going to be fierce.
He has to; Crt, Woke is destroying our next generation.
I would prefer he eliminate the dept of education and leave schools to the states. It’s not a federal matter.
I remember when he said he was going to do an EO to ban anchor babies. Big talk is meaningless when you don’t follow thru.
