No country has a perfect COVID-vaccination rate, even this far into the pandemic, but America’s record is particularly dismal. About a third of Americans—more than a hundred million people—have yet to get their initial shots. You can find anti-vaxxers in every corner of the country. But by far the single group of adults most likely to be unvaccinated is Republicans: 37 percent of Republicans are still unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated, compared with 9 percent of Democrats. Fourteen of the 15 states with the lowest vaccination rates voted for Donald Trump in 2020. (The other is Georgia.)
We know that unvaccinated Americans are more likely to be Republican, that Republicans in positions of power led the movement against COVID vaccination, and that hundreds of thousands of unvaccinated Americans have died preventable deaths from the disease. The Republican Party is unquestionably complicit in the premature deaths of many of its own supporters, a phenomenon that may be without precedent in the history of both American democracy and virology.

I would love to believe that. Now we hear that there’s a database of all of us who have NOT had the shot. It’ll make it so much easier for them to round us up when they implement the next effort to off the patriots.
We foiled their “vax” plot. They assumed that, since it happened during PDJT’s administration and he was a proponent, we would be begging for the shots. That backfired on them bigly. Remember at the beginning how the RAT pols in DC were adamant that they would not get Trump’s vax?
Ummm…I’m guessing that math isn’t a strong suit for “Yasmin Tayag”, but 37% of Republicans isn’t that much different than “a third of Americans” (33.3%?). If Democrats are really 91% vaxxed ( which I question) then the largest unvaxxed group by % must be Independents.
Well yeah I know that, that’s why I included him. Furthermore, I doubt that he was the lone Black person to not get the “vaccine” either.
Vaccines have side effects and new experimental vaccines have those that are still yet to be determined. Can we not just let people decide on their own what is best for them, with the advice from their doctor.
No, I trust Freepers to be able to to think for themselves. The best way to counter propaganda is to debunk it, not to ignore it.

I would think Constitutional Conservatives and maybe Libertarians would be less vaxxed than Republicans.
Trump’s intent for Operation Warp Speed was to use government and private resources to quickly produce a safe vaccine. Sadly, it turned the U.S. population into guinea pigs who weren’t allowed to sue Big Pharma for serious side effects.
Oh pish! The GOP didn’t turn against vaccines. They virtue signaled their compliance by getting vaccinated on TV, tweeting support for vaccines, and touting the entire “vaccines are safe and effective” narrative. Trump is the one who put the Operation Warp speed in place. How quickly they forget that THEN the democrats said they wouldn’t take a vaccine that was developed under Trump’s administration.
It is critical-thinking people, some on the left of the political spectrum, who did their own research and made the decision not to take the experimental drug. The GOPe was fully on-board with everyone getting the shots, most just didn’t think it should be mandated.
The initial vax was proven effective against the original strain. That data is all public.
But the virus is much more powerful than simply that. And probably more important, the vax . . . ALL VAX from all countries manufacture . . . faded in effectiveness.
The best data I have seen suggested the vax getting old was even more powerful than its inability to defend against variants.
So there are some far too often said things that are wrong:
1) The vax didn’t work. Not true. It worked for a while.
2) Variants become more infectious and less deadly. Clearly not true given the Delta numbers vs Alpha.
3) Fauci has admitted the vax didn’t work. No such explicit quote has been offered. Just contorted extractions of marginally relevant musing about vaccines in a general sense.
4) Vax was produced before anyone in the US died. Somewhat true, because the genetic sequence was released by China in the Dec 2019 time frame. Experts took one look at it, recognized it to be a novel virus and that there would be no pre-existing immunity, so they produced vax immediately. Covid was destined to kill millions the day it was created.

Orwellian lie. There was no movement against Covid vaccination. Plenty of people didn't take the vaccine, but that wasn't because of any "movement". There was a movement against VACCINE MANDATES - not the same thing.
Furthermore, the vaccine mandate movement was not led by Republicans in positions of power for the most part. DeSantis blocked cruise companies from mandating vaccines until a court said he couldn't do that. That's the only thing I can think of by a Republican official against mandates.
Baloney, Trump knew (SARS 2025-2028 exercise, and then his own Fed Gov exercise Crimson Contagion - Jan 2019-Aug 2019) and EO’d vaccines mRna September 2019. Several months before operation Warp speed. You might do well to read the reports on these, as they read like a movie script for COVID 19 pandemic.
Posting left-wing nonsense is regrettably common on FR. We are supposed to make fun of the leftists as an entertainment. But life is short, and I’d rather deal with something more substantive.
He mentioned it too. I asked my wife if she knew we could get right at our house. Then went and got the horse paste (apple flavored) out of one of our cabinets. This was early on. The C, D, Zinc, and quecertin we were already taking. Still are I might add.

Why do Democrats care if I am vaxxed? Are they not “protected” with their fifth or sixth booster status? I will admit that I am grateful to all the pro-vaxx supporters and their willingness to be long term guinea pigs for big pharma. At some point the press may not be able to hide the horrendous number of Vaxx related deaths. Time will tell.
