Sonic booms don’t create intense flashes in the sky.A 44 pound warhead, typical of an AIM-120, at 60K feet, would not create much of a flash or a boom to an observer at ground level.

Video cameras are much more sensitive than eyes. I see that all the time with my home security cameras -— I’m not talking about IR night vision mode but just visible light. You should see when 4th of July fireworks go off a couple miles away....
