Residents in Billings, Montana, reported an 'explosion in the sky' after US officials warned of a Chinese spy balloon flying over the region.
Bizarre video of the aftermath shows a trail of smoke in the sky where the balloon was last spotted.
Dolly Moore, who took video of the scene, said she 'saw a jet go by so fast and then explosion in the sky. '

They allowed it to travel thru Alaska, before going thru Canada and into Montana.

I have to wonder, would the chicoms really float an easily visible balloon over USA containing sensitive intel? Perhaps, perhaps not; maybe it contained another stash of Uncle Joe’s classified docs.
One is stupid, the other senile; aside from that, they’re politically the same.
That was one of the few pieces that was not made by Lucas in that Canadian version of the aircraft - it’s a Martin-Baker NACES ejection seat, same as is used in our F-18s.

Could be bifacial panels. That thing is pretty big. Looks like the old “skylab” satellite hanging from a balloon.
That looks like one someone took in Glasgow( no idea when filmed when but was today, and not sure if real or fake either )
Doubtful. There’s a whole swarm of independent TV meteorologists and other meteorologists and the public spotting the thing, getting good pics, etc.
RE: Most likely was equipped with self-destruct charges to prevent forensic examinations.
The Chinese would have little chance to recover these units after they launch them. They would not want other people to recover them.

That is highly astute.
Chinese Communists are extremely secretive and would want the sending devices gone as soon as the needed spy data had been received in China. Or the local traitor spy nests in the US. Also ways in which each state and the Pentagon detected and tracked the device (learning what to improve or
tinker with in China for next time).
