It gets worse. The district is required to educate him in as free a manner as possible, meaning he has to be in a regular classroom as much as possible, meaning that in the future he will likely be sitting next to normal kids who along with their teachers have to learn to put up with his outbursts.
The school district will be responsible for his ‘education’ until the age of 21 and must provide what he needs for 12 months out of the year. If he is such a danger that he must be confined in a boarding school 24/7, the district must provide it, no matter the costs. If it requires firing three teachers to do it, it must be done. This is why administrators, who take lessons in school law, are so reluctant to respond to teachers’ complaints—anything they do will cost even more money to be spent on him.
And as some icing on the top, having an I.E.P. means he is dibbled and eligible for SSI, meaning his parents will get a check from Social Security until he turns 18.
Since the boy is six, there are likely no legal consequences to him for what he did. He will be returning to school, what school or what kind of school, we’ll never be allowed to know. And unless there’s a ‘grapevine’ his teachers won’t be allowed to know either.
So sad his mom is now trying to cash in. They knew he had a gun yet could not find it. Who brought the gun into class?

I must admit, at times it gets very depressing seeing the progress satan is making in America.
My wife (literally "the girl next door") lost a battle to cancer at 28 when my daughters were 4 and 1 - and knowing the future that awaits them is quite depressing in itself.

This kid is the product of his family life and his parents or guardians. What he did and said is what he is learning from his parents siblings and others in the house
The child is 6 years of age. He is not competent nor is any other 6 year old and skin color has nothing to do with it.
Based on the described behavior there is a very good chance that he was a drug baby. Crack cocaine, methamphetamine, alcohol, heroin/fentanyl, and even some prescribed psychotropic drugs can severely impact brain and emotional development of a fetus. Permanent damage is almost guaranteed and its the kind of damage that will impact them for their entire life. Their brain does not develop to include critical parts of the brain that differentiate us from animals.
Many of these children are incapable of controlling their emotions or empathy for another person. They are born as sociopaths or psychopaths and their brain development is not the same as most people. Babies and children who are born like this often have horrible environments at home that further contribute to these issues.
The criminal justice system is full of adults who were brain damaged by their mothers and their home life (or lack thereof) and environment (or culture) often compounds the problems.
It should concern everyone that the “school” or “authorities” responded to the warning signs in this child by telling others who were concerned to ignore it. This described behavior should never be ignored. I have a lot of familiarity with this problem - professional and personal.
It has nothing to do with race. Every embryo, regardless of race, is full of potential. With very few exceptions that potential will be instilled by the mother during pregnancy and the adults who care (or don’t care) for the child.
It’s that simple. I will never believe that a baby is born as a monster. Maybe I am wrong, but all the ones I know of were created by at least one adult, the mother, and often by many adults - family, school, and community. Behavior like this in any child (as described) should result in a supreme effort to treat them and it starts by removing them from an environment that is clearly failing. Even then, there are still no guarantees.
The brain is an incredibly complex organ and it remains one of the least understood things on our planet. I personally believe what I wrote above has much more to do with stories like this versus what some rich leftist journalist, professor, politician, race hustling poverty pimp, woke doctor, or kneejerk racist says about it.
This little guy is brain damaged and it sounds like a lot of adults failed him.
Thank you for your post and sharing facts about our education system. I wrote a longer post above about my thoughts, but I did not know how the current education system is treating this stuff (my first-hand knowledge is a bit dated).
There were obviously many failures with this child. I am certain child protective services were notified by the school about this behavior (legally required) and while they are often an easy target (just like teachers or schools) few people understand how hard it is for them to fight the system to try and give a child like this the best chance at success (if its possible).
Most people don’t realize the role the federal government plays in what should be truly local school matters. The rules I described are part of Federal rules, likely outlining the ‘rights’ of the handicapped to receive an education. Most think of handicapped as being blind, deaf, or physically disabled, but crazy is now part of being handicapped as well.
Most Americans managed to receive decent educations from public schools before these rules/laws were put in place. Getting rid of these rules is likely politically impossible—”Republicans want to deny education to the handicapped!!!”
More and more people are pulling their kids out of public schools, but they still have to pay taxes for them. Since providing education is a part of virtually all state constitutions, the public schools aren’t ever going away.
I frankly don’t know the solution.

The kid will be 'mentally ill' a problem caused by White Supremacy'... The corrupt press knows who butters their bread and feeds them 'the good stuff' via their 'news packets.
Back when I was in the 5th grade, not far from where I was sitting, a large cow-like female “classmate” tried to stab an elderly woman teacher with a pencil. The attacker was escorted out of the room by a couple of male teachers, and she was never seen again.
I don’t remember what let up to the attack, or why other teachers were present. All I recall is looking up and seeing this creature make her attack. She was considerable larger that the average 5th grader, probably having held back a grade or two.
No doubt this “student” ended up in a reform school, which is were the kid in this story should have been, but “racist” reform schools are a thing of the distant past, and “mainstreaming” and “social promotion” are the norm now.
These liberal policies only hurt the kids they are supposed to help, and add to the relentless corrosion of our society.
Thank goodness the teacher in the story survived.
