“At least with gas stations you can choose which neighborhood to stop at.”

And the other 15% will get you killed.

I still have my 12-year-old Chevy HHR with 68,000 miles.
It runs great, has never been to repair shop, and BEST PART IS I DO NOT NEED EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT BATTERY needed by EV cars after so many years and miles.

Percentage of vehicle owners who say they don’t have EV charging access at home

Survey of 2,200 U.S. adults, 1,941 of whom own vehicles, conducted between March 3-6, 2022

Total
All vehicle owners 78%

Potential electric vehicle buyers are told not to worry so much about access to public charging stations because most people will charge their EVs at home.

But many people say they don’t have EV charging available at home.

What they found: Only 11% of adults report that charging access is always available at home.

The bottom line: If you don’t have a garage or a dedicated parking spot, your access to charging is likely limited, which could potentially stunt growth of the EV industry.

You’re excluding a certain part of the population just because of the way they park.

Not for long. CA has banned developers building parking in new apartment buildings. Other loony left state will follow. Where are all those people going to park and charge their vehicles? At the public chargers.
