I still have my 12-year-old Chevy HHR with 68,000 miles.
It runs great, has never been to repair shop, and BEST PART IS I DO NOT NEED EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT BATTERY needed by EV cars after so many years and miles.

If you have just 68,000 miles on your Chevy, that would be about 1/3 of the life of the battery of an EV. Figure on 250 miles per charge and 1,000 charges, but allow for losses so maybe 200k miles on a battery before you need to replace it.

EV won't work for me. Can't spend hours charging on the road on long trips. My car has 275,000 miles and EV would have needed a new battery long ago.
