Owning an electric car means that you also need to own a gas-powered vehicle as a backup.

we had electric school buses that wouldn’t start. now we have a HUGE heated garage and they go in 2 hours early to get everything warmed up. nothing like having tax money up the kazoo wasted.

A Tesla driving friend was making plans to meet up with a mutual friend for lunch. He admitted setting up the meeting place based on proximity to a charger.
What a way to live.

"Some fellow Tesla owners have even messaged me to see if I have found a solution. Unfortunately my answer is no." Domenick Nati told Fox Business. I have the obvious solution for Domenick, but he won't like it.

If everything goes “green” then there will be no place to go to avoid freezing to death if it gets really cold.

Ha, ha — just like windmills and solar cells. You need a coal-fired or natural-gas fired backup power plant.
Going green is expensive. You have to buy TWO power plants where just one used to do (main + backup). AND you have to buy TWO automobiles where just one used to do).
Is this a great New Green World or what?

I have an old-fashioned (hand crank windows, etc ) 22 year old pickup truck - started like a champ, first try, no hesitation, with a temp of 9° yesterday morning. No Tesla for me - I couldn’t afford one anyway.

But a downtown department store manager donated his reindeer from his Christmas petting zoo and they pulled the car with amazing stamina and speed.

Having no choice and having another person or entity tell you how to live, is “freedom” for too many people. It frees them from decisions and choices. What a sad way to live.

Maybe one reason you can't is because you're subsidizing them and with it the richest man in the world.

I am amazed this one got past the propaganda machine. A lot of liberals are going be ticked. Now imagine it is zero or below zero. It is only a matter of time before people are found frozen to death on the side of the road in their EV’s.
