Yes I had it thanksgiving
Since we’re extended suites between homes we did dinner at the palm
I thought I might die
Every breath hurt
Stayed in bed 48 hours
Got better but weak for five days
Lost 15 pounds
The good part
We all had it my youngest bad like me
When you get old you can see how the flu and pneumonia can kill you if it takes a bad turn
Oh dear! I am so thankful you all recovered, but so very sorry to read you had to go through that. Loss of 15 pounds that fast is scary! Here’s praying you all get better and stronger every day.
About an hour ago, I ran into an acquaintance I hadn’t seen in a while who told me he had recently got over a very bad case of Omicron. Really sick. He’s young (early 30s), has two cute little kids. He was very healthy, normal weight, but today was certainly on the lean side and looked like he had lost a lot of weight. So Omicron isn’t always “just a cold”.
Lots of nasty bugs going around here. This nasty weather isn’t helping. Take care out there, Wardaddy — we treasure you here on FR!
