Trump jumped the shark last night, period. And here he is, calling DeSantis a loser, a very successful and freedom-loving governor who flipped Democrat counties and cities in Florida and crushed Crist by over a million votes.

It's time for Trump to shut up, retire from politics, and quietly spend his remaining years on the golf course at Mar-a-Lago.

BTW, and before any zealots jump on this statement of fact, how much of his $100 million warchest did Trump contribute to those candidates he endorsed?

Answer: NONE.

Trump is done.

Trump’s candidates could not beat the early, mail-in voting because they were all smeared in the first months of the campaign. Their opponents refused to debate. Trump did not sufficiently fund his own endorsed candidates. McConnell funded Trump’s senate candidates with 10x the money Trump spent, despite Trump’s PAC having raised more than McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund. So, do not blame McConnel.

This allowed the Dems to smear our candidates early and cement those early, mail-in votes, ensuring their victory.

DeSantis turned Florida more red than ever by actually governing as a conservative, taking actions to ensure integrity and leading the nation during the pandemic.

Trump needs to retire his ego and enjoy his billions and Melania.

I fear Trump will not. He is the jilted lover who wants revenge. If Trump gets the nomination, he loses in 2024. If Trump loses the nomination, he will undermine our nominee causing us to lose 2024.

Last I saw, there was like 99% reported in Florida and Ron DeSantis won by nearly 20 percentage points. He’s a good anomaly on a Red Ripple night.

Had heard he’d spent 14kk of it during this election cycle, but that might just be a rumor.

You know who isn’t good for the GOP?

Trump.

Most of his candidates pooped the bed last night. I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020. His time is over. And it’s time the Trump supporters realize that as well.

The Republican party has been strongly identified with a) Trump, and b) abolition of abortion.

The number of people in favor of both is smaller than the number opposed to one or the other.

The Democratic party is also identified with a number of unpopular policies, such as open borders, cashless bail, LBGTQ indoctrination in schools, etc. But they didn’t harm Democrats chances to the same extent.

Hence, the Red Ripple yesterday.

The party that wins in 2024 will be the one that stops advocating things a majority of people dislike.

I’ve been sitting trying to figure out what went wrong and it all leads to Trump. He’s so hated that he negatively affected the congressional elections. I don’t think he could win in 2024 and if he did it would divide the country even further.

I agree. Trump’s time has come and gone. There’s no way in Hell the Washington establishment will let him run, let alone win.

Trump had to go make the election about HIM and what happened? What could have been the best GOP cycle in years was a friggin’ disaster. An absolute disaster. It’s like every single day since he lost the election in 2020, he’s tried to figure out the absolute worst possible thing he could do or say, from handing two Senate seats in Georgia to the demonrats, to a billion half-measures to hold on to the presidency without a single good plan.

We must dump Trump and fire McConnel and Macarthy.

I will always believe 2020 was stolen, but you cannot say Dems won in 2022 purely because of cheating. If Republicans could not win in this economy with a Vegetable in the WH, then we must clean house.

The only choice going forward is DeSantis.

Trumps candidates did not do very well. Vance won. That’s about all you can say. He’s never been good with coattails.

Trump warns DeSantis against 2024 White House bid, saying it wouldn’t be ‘good’ for GOP

Sad to say, I don't think Trump would win in a general election in 2024.

Your name is apropo…..
….you strike, knowing your aggressive cronies will be close behind to negatively impugn President Trump

It gets so tiresome….
….but on the positive side, it gives Trump friends/voters at FR good experience to refute, or ignore you

Trump has done more for our nation in 4 years than anyone else has since Reagan!
Trump has presented the ‘template’ for other Patriotic Americans to follow.
Trump has brought ‘love of God and Country’ to our hearts and minds again.
Trump has enabled policies to keep us safe.
Trump has enabled our self respect by growing jobs and opportunities.
GOD BLESS DONALD TRUMP

Trump primary picks were disasters .
He needed to stay out of it but couldn't help himself .
He made such good picks for his WH Staff .
He made this election about him again to our detriment .

He needs to retire .
Evil McConnell purposely destroyed Trumps candidates along with
Demon Linda Gramnesty a Democrat with her attempted Abortion bomb.

Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.

You will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea. Where else are you going to go?

Last night America said to Trump, "Go away."

They said this in the re-elections of Ron DeSantis, Marco Rubio, Brian Kemp, and Brad Raffensperger and they said this in the defeats of nearly every other MAGA candidate.

Trump is touting "174 wins, 9 losses. Great night!" Really? And those 174 wins? How many of those were House races already ahead by 20 points by the time Trump endorsed them?

It's those nine losses that mattered. These were devastating. These are on Trump.

Trump's days as a kingmaker or a viable candidate in '24 ended last night. People here would be wise to see this and move on.

DeSantis is the future of the GOP.

Not a good thing. DeSantis has been very nice towards Trump. And now Trump is threatening to talk smack about him. He will cost us the 2024. He is doing what the dems wanted him to do. He needs to stay quiet. I doubt biden runs again. Trump needs to work quietly on his own stuff. Still holding huge rallies.

Trump is at the Jake LaMotta stage. What could’a been. He need to retire his shtick and mature. Life is timing. He could take lessons from DeSantis who stands on the shoulders of Trump, no doubt. But he’s polished the shtick and without losing the core vision, is appealing to so many more who are tired of Trump’s shtick.

So much of life is timing. It is DeSantis time.

Trump disciples will hate this.....I get it. But you are like religious zealots. There is no reasoning with you.
