“Why vote for a fake Democrat when you can have the real thing?”

exactly.
Why bother having a GOP governor when he acts like a democrat 90% of the time and the other 10% he’s a ‘moderate’. Not interested thank you.

Looks like we are gonna follow Youngkin’s playbook.

Dozens of poll watchers, election judges and lawyers.

Doubt it will make a difference, but we are gonna work our butts off trying!

only 53% of Marylanders confessing to voting Dem is a good sign nationally.

Wrong. Even in 2006, a terrible year for Republicans, Martin O’Malley only won by 53%. So it is no indication of Democrat weakness that it is 53%.

Not in Maryland. Hogan is a RINO but he was able to win in Maryland. You run a MAGA Republican, you lose by 20. Sometimes we have to adapt to the field. Manchin is a Blue Dog Democrat. But he's in West Virginia. And the Democrats have that valuable seat. 1 out of 100. Sometimes you're better off with a RINO in a blue state like Hogan who is right 20% of the time than a communist like Kathy Hochul in New York.

looks like we need to start busing illegal aliens to Maryland!

That ship sailed in Maryland long ago. Who do you think is mowing the lawns, cleaning the houses, and babysitting the kids of all those DC lawyers and lobbyists?

So they’re replacing an assistant Democrat with the real thing. Big deal.

I’m afraid you’re right but talked to dozens of democrats this weekend that were fed up with the rat party.

Really surprised and was not expecting this!

Gives me a bit of hope if we work hard.

Looks like we are gonna follow Youngkin’s playbook.

The VA election integrity effort was quite impressive. I'm proud to say I was part of it. It was not perfect - and I'm sure there was still quite a bit of fraud - but it was enough to turn VA red for now. The key to making it work is having sufficient Republican volunteers (election workers, poll watchers, etc.), which is not easy to do when states like VA have 45-day voting periods. From what I understand, the Republican parties in sixteen states are now going to be adopting the VA system.

Cox is relatively conservative; he won his primary against Hogan’s pick, Kelly Schulz.

Big surprise.

Dan Cox is probably perfectly fine, but has been painted successfully as some kind of “extremist”.

Never mind the fact it seems we cannot do more than alternate Republican-Democrat.

Good. Maryland, along with several other states, needs to make sure their downfall is clearly led by dems.

The Parasites can only run the show for a finite amount of time. The only question is, will they kill the host on their way out.

“I don’t think we are going to win there this time”

You aren’t going win anything until you realize we didn’t win their LAST time, either.

The bad news: A GOP incumbent Governor is going to lose.

The good news: At least it's Larry Hogan.
