General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has yet to comment on the use — or abuse — of Marines in President Joe Biden’s speech Thursday attacking “MAGA Republicans,” after Milley complained about Trump’s march across Lafayette Square.
Biden delivered a diatribe against Donald Trump and the political opposition in general, standing in front of Independence Hall as it was bathed in red light, and flanked by Marines who had been deliberately positioned, the White House said, in staging the address.

What is a general supposed to say about his superior officer? As Commander in Chief, Biden outranks him, period, end of discussion. That Biden is an incompetent puppet has nothing to do with it. The military is strictly regimented and a general has no autorized leeway to directly publicly criticize the Commader in Chief.

I agree that no actively serving general should criticize the president. Resign in protest, then criticize.
Biden used two Marines as political props. This sort of thing cannot continue. But it will continue unless somebody steps up. A general who cared about the country would resign, then make a huge fuss over it.
