temperature drop of nearly 60 degrees in the Centennial State means rare sights from a late-spring storm that promises to cover the ground in parts of the state with snow.

More than a foot of snow fell in places like Black Forest and Aspen Park.

As of Saturday morning, more than 50,000 were without power.

The frozen precipitation began falling across large parts of the state by Friday afternoon.

Videos from communities such as Castle Rock, Lone Tree and Aurora showed the first flurries coming down.

Funny.

100 years ago it would just be cited as weather.

Now we get to give credit to the libtards and their fascinating power of illusion.

Live in western Colorado some 240 miles west of Denver. Today is clear and cold with no snow ... daytime temperatures were in the 80’s earlier this week today we’ll see mid-60’s. Front range late spring snowstorms are fairly common, one year I remember a fairly significant snow event occurring after Memorial Day. Once the bright spring sun emerges the snow disappears quickly.

They better fire up those solar powered helicopters and get them out there to de-ice
their frozen wind generators with that fossil-fuel based de-icing fluid!

We have 10" in the Lone Tree/Highlands Ranch area just South of Denver....and its still snowing.

Just shook off fruit trees, which seem to have survived, but lost a big branch on a shade tree.

And more of this extreme weather as global warming gets worse, including glaciers forming over most of North America!

Here in Seattle, we expect to get our second highest temperature of 2022 on Sunday - 72 degrees F

Our highest temp of 2022 came in early April - 73 degrees F

That is it - just two days over 69 degrees F in 2022.

March, April, and May have been quite chilly.

Since March, we have had close to twenty days that were at least 10 degrees F below average!

And after the climate change gurus plug it all into their computer models they'll prove this was your hottest year on record. ;-)

Totally normal this time of year though.

I have camped in the black rock in july and august with day time temps over 100 and all 5 gallon water jugs freezing solid overnight

That's Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa - both in the 13,000 foot range. Kilauea is too low of elevation for snow - only 4000'.

It also snows occasionally on Haleakala on Maui but mostly is brine ice build up.

I lived in Miami (Coral Gables) back in the mid-70s, and we had a small snow event. It was hilarious to watch the people react to it.

They are going to have to rename Glacier National Park since all the glaciers have melted....

Oops.
