In a now deleted VK post, the pro-Kremlin media outlet Readovka claims that Russia’s Defense Ministry stated at a “closed briefing” that it’s lost 13,414 soldiers in Ukraine *plus* another 7,000 who are missing. 116 sailors killed aboard the Moskva, with 100+ still missing.

I assume there are Russians that despise Putin as we despise Biden et al.
That said, those numbers wouldn’t surprise me.
We have all learned the failure of tanks against modern weaponry.
98% of all Russians are getting their lives ruined by Putin.
On the other hand, there is "pro-Kremlin media" which lies a lot and sometimes accidentally admits the truth that brave and noble Ukrainians are kicking Russia's ass.
Similarly, the US political system consists of "Far Right Extremists" and "Democrats".
My question: Why does anyone believe anything?
Those numbers make sense at this point. Add in 3 times the number of wounded, and it explains why the Russian offensive has been scaled down. Not completely crippled, but much weaker than when they started.
Oddly, I haven’t seen the tanks-lost number change yet. Probably still counting?

Number does not count related groups like Wagner, Chechen, Separatists, etc.
So if these numbers are accurate, then total Dead and Missing is above 20,400 - among all Russian active forces in the Ukraine region. Wounded? Even more.
Both sides are suffering horrendous casualties.
Your number is absurd. It’s preposterous to claim the sanctions don’t effect 60 of Russians.
I suspect the number of Russians supporting the war is above 70%, at minimum.
It is a very difficult number to know, as so much of Russian society is based on lying and accepting lies.
