COVID-19 case numbers have remained stable in the US, even as the highly contagious BA.2 subvariant has spread to become the dominant form of the virus.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said the new subvariant now accounts for around 72% of cases nationally, though figures show it has not driven a new surge like it has in European countries

So, multiple Omicron variants now but no interest in creating an Omicron booster? Literally still boosting people with the alpha-juice from 2020. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?
It will obviously take a while before the politics will allow us to deal with the reality of Covid. I think that none of this would have happened without the perfect storm of the US financing research in an enemy country that is illegal here. What were they thinking? That perhaps it’s all science and the Chinese were working for us? I am unimpressed with the concepts other cultures have with safety. Even photos on the lab’s website showed safety violations like damaged seals on isolation cabinets. Gain of function research in some foreign lab was a spectacularly bad idea. Fauci and everyone involved should go to prison.

Blue state governors show symptoms of the new variant, severe aching and twitching to imprison their states again.
I just learned that Omicron was a short O sound while Omega was a long O.
“Testing” mania is burning itself out.
